Great service, fast, affordable, knowledgeable, answered every question I had without hesitation…read more We would hope not to have to call them back however, will do so if other repairs are needed. G. family

I chose Gentry Well Works to install my well in 2019 when my home was built. There were some…read moreproblems in the beginning (sand coming through the lines) so they raised the pump. I've had small problems since, however nothing major until about a month and half ago when I went to surprise my boyfriend's 5-year-old with a kiddie pool. After running the hose some, the pool was muddy/full of sand. Gentry came out and said there was a crack in the foundation and raised the pump some more. The well will no longer hold water. When checking on the well, there is 27 feet until I get to any water. I extended the measuring tape as far as it would go, and it hit 30 feet. Both proposals Gentry gave me said the well would be a minimum of 35 feet. A few days before that, Hunter (Gentry worker) told my mother that they hit rock on the bottom of the well so it can't be dug any deeper. We paid $360 for 4500 gallons of water on 7/22 to Hydro Pools. The person filled the well at least a few times and it kept draining back down where it is 27 feet until water is reachable again. Gentry was closed by the time all of this happened on Friday, so we reached back out to them on Monday, and they basically told us too bad because it has been more than 3 years (barely). They do not back their work at all; no one from that company is willing to help. There were even a few times we never received a call back! It has now been over a month and half with no water and with a five-year-old living in the household it makes things even harder. I also have ankylosing spondylitis and when my boyfriend isn't around to carry the buckets and water jugs, I have to do it. It is taking a huge toll on all our mental (and my physical) health. Since I have to have a whole new well installed, I have been in contact with the health department and other places to get permits and hopefully a grant to help with this extra expense that shouldn't have occurred.
