I ordered a pizza from here while on the road and was very happy with it. The quality of the ingredients was good, and the pizza was well topped. It arrived a little cooler than I would have liked but that is what can happen with any delivery. It went down well and wasn't greasy or too doughy. It was well balanced and tasty. All in all, a good pizza decision.

I'll start off by saying the service and the food we're all great. Beers were good! No problem there! We asked if there was any specials, and she told us the personal pizzas were $5. We ordered a total of three beers, two personal pizzas and an order of wings. As I mentioned above, service was great and the food was terrific! The problem came is when we got our bill. We ordered off the menu a personal New Mexican pizza and the personal Papa Mike's. She charged them as a build your own pizza which came out as $9 for my New Mexican and $13 for the Papa Mike's! For the personal size! When I questioned her, she said that was how she rang it up. The LARGE would have been $16 and $14! Had we had known that, we would of ordered the large ones and had more leftovers!

We were super hungry - hangry if you will - with two kids in tow after holiday shopping. Every restaurant we tried had an hour wait or was closed early for some reason...so we decided to venture a bit further from home. We are so glad we did! We've struggled to find a place that had great drinks, pizza, and atmosphere that was child friendly here in EP. This place was it! We were seated immediately and despite it being busy, our food came out quick and fresh. Our server was phenomenal and attentive. The food came out delicious. The best way to describe some of their options is "craft" but still less than most "craft" places here in EP. It is still expensive, but the quality of the food is wonderful. The buffalo Brussels were amazing. The salad was fresh and had so many toppings. The Bianca pizza was unique, but we'd definitely order again. Love the atmosphere, very lively and fun. Will definitely be back.

We love to try pizza places and rate them. The shack slice and brew was amazing. The pizza was so fresh and the ingredients were definitely well selected. Their garlic knots (pepperoni rolls) was addicting and their service was phenomenal. We ordered two pizzas and both came out hot and so good. The papa mikes was delicious and full of flavor but our favorite was the New Mexico. The spice of the green chili was more prevalent and the flavors just mashed so well. I would recommend you give this place a try. Our only little issue was that the from opened and a couple of women kept going out to smoke on the porch area, which is fine, but the smoke would waft back into the restaurant, and that really puts a damper on the taste of food. They can't control the breeze though. We would definitely go back.

Custom personal pizza: salami and sausage with pesto sauce

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, and enjoyed their Thursday special: $8 for up to 3 topping personal pizza. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous when the waitress didn't write down our custom order pizzas- she did forget one topping requested, but we didn't even realize it until we were halfway through, so we didn't bother saying anything. Hubby got salami and sausage with the pesto sauce (the kalamata olives were the forgotten ingredient). I thought his pizza was pretty good. I created my pizza with bacon, spinach, and feta cheese with their white sauce. It was amazing! We both loved the crust- it was the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy, and the perfect thinness.

This place is bangin'! We've been here a couple of times and every time it's been delicious. This time we had the beer cheese and the Bianka pizza and there were no leftovers. I have to say, their crust is really yummy. Not too thick or thin and I really like the chew of it--not so much work that my jaw is tired before my tummy is satiated. And it tastes great! I also had a mango mojito which I asked them to make virgin and it was so refreshing and a perfect blend of the flavors. Kiddos love the pizza and they love playing with the pizza dough that's brought out for them while we wait for the food. The waitstaff are always attentive and kind and the restaurant is very clean. Atmosphere is casual and exactly what you'd expect from a pizza and brew joint.

If you're interested, my initial review on yelp was a 5 star. I've visited this place multiple times since my initial visit. After today, I will no longer patron this establishment. The way my issue was handled was extremely poor. I ordered a large papa mikes pizza which tasted fine at first, the the 3rd slice tasted foul and a bit sour. I didn't think much of it. I thought maybe it was me. However, every single slice after that smelled terrible. I brought it to the servers attention and she apologized and took the rest of the pizza. I then asked for our tab. She brought our receipt that reflected the full charge on that pizza I didn't even get to eat and no one ever offered to make another one. We asked if we could get some sort of discount since we obviously didn't eat our pizza. She later came back saying the most the manager could do was give us 20% off the tab. Again, no one offered to make a new pizza. I was blown away at the lack of customer service. I will not return. And I will not recommend.

I came in for wings, but realized Their specialty is Pizza At this location. I had wings anyway, we tried the buffalo Parmesan and the lemon pepper - both of them were fantastic, crispy, and light --well cooked. The atmosphere was good, With music videos playing (not too loudly so we could have a conversation) The staff was very friendly and helpful, and although we were the only ones in the restaurant we had a wonderful lunch!!! Come try it out if you've never been here. Maricruz the waitress was great!

So I've become such a fan of the shack slice! They have such an amazing staff and the food NEVER disappoints. I appreciate the safety precautions they have in place during this crazy time we're in. The signature pizzas are so good, the appetizers are amazing and the pasta is definitely worth trying. I've never been disappointed in anything I've ever ordered from here. Atmosphere and staff are all so helpful and friendly and make you feel so welcomed.

Great, Great, Great! This place is...Great! The decor is excellent, service is amazing, and the food is worth coming back for. I enjoy how This restaurant has an open floor plan where you can see cooks prepare your food, see how long it stays under the heat lamps (which is not long) , and how your delicious meal comes together. The wings are fresh and juicy, the pizza is delectable with fresh ingredients. This is an amazing neighborhood bar and craft food, but I would recommend anyone in town to try this wonderful hidden gem in a shopping center. If you have visitors from out of town, I would be proud to treat them to this establishment. Two thumbs up, highly recommend, and I will be a repeated repeatedly customer.

We had an amazing dinner! Love this place. Besides the incredible salad and pizza, we were blown away by the amazing service of our waitress (Jazz) and the manager (Melissa)...Melissa came by to check in on us, and our older son (who has autism) asked her to be his friend; without missing a beat, Melissa came back with pizza dough for him to play with! :) 100% recommend The Shack! read more

What a gem! My wife and I just loved this place. The garlic mussels were amazing, so much flavor, and so many in the bowl. We were not disappointed and that order alone makes this place a definite fancy dimmer night! Ok, now the pizza. What a selection. We decided on, with the help of our beautiful server, Desiree, on the Pappa Mike's pizza. So happy! So delicious. Perfect crust, toppings on point, and flavor was spot on! She took a few seconds to recommend places to visit in town. Stopped in for a drink while my girlfriend was shopping elsewhere in the same strip mall. First time in the place and was instantly struck by the chill atmosphere and friendly vibe. Really cool neighborhood pub feel. My bartender, Jules,demonstrated that this bar prioritizes service and skill. Refreshing. I can't stand a crappy bartender. So nice to see a young mixologist who cares enough to learn the craft and be genuinely cool with the patrons. Theyre a dying breed I tell you! Totally on the other side of town for me. Don't care. Haven't been here since it switched to a pizza joint. Huge interior improvements and a nice bar greet you on your way in. The pizza is delish, I liked the crust a lot. A flavorful pizza is so hard to find these days and theirs is by far one of the best I've had in awhile. Tables are spaced perfect for social distance and extra steps are being taken for hygiene. Our server was very courteous. The bar menu is huge, I hope to return soon for drinks. read more

I came during covid and it was actually kinda busy. They have an outside patio. I ordered a margarita pizza to go, some wings, and the sprouts. It's all not bad, though there's no doubt it all would have tasted better if I had it there at the restaurant rather than to go. Will definitely have to come back and do sit-down next time. read more

It's me again, the alcohol reviewer! I came over to this place last Thursday and it was the best! Again, sit at the bar! They had the best and cheapest happy hour in town! Well drinks were like 2.50 or 2.75, my cousin had the beer and that was on special as well. The bartender was also quick and attentive here! The best part was the thin crust personal pizza! You get to choose from regular dough or cauliflower dough for the pizza and up to 3 toppings! The price for the regular dough was 6 bucks and for the cauliflower dough was like 8 dollars! The pizza was perfectly baked, crispy, and they didn't slop on tons of tomato sauce like other pizza joints. I believe everyday they have different happy hour specials and the day I came was on a Thursday. I would totally come over to this place again! read more

A great experience coupled with amazing pizza all made from scratch right in front of you. The quality of ingredients sets this place apart. We started with garlic knots stuffed with cheese. Perfect. The we ordered a Pastor pizza and a Philly pizza. Both exceeded my expectations. Originally being from NYC I was not expecting this but they blew me away. From the bartenders to the manager they were on point. They are also COVID conscious and are checking temps and have hand sanitizer. My Buffalo chicken pizza was ok, blue cheese dressing over powered the flavor of the pizza, crust was good. My daughters Italian sandwich was really good just a little to small especially for sharing. My wife got a burger meat was over cooked and under seasoned. We have been to this location several times. Service is mediocre, at best and for some reason, servers forget they have customers who would like to check out, instead preferring to flirt with other customers. This past Friday my friend and I went there for lunch. We had a free appetizer reward, and we also ordered a pizza and teas. The food was really good. My friend had to leave early, so i stayed behind to pay for the meal. I had to wait for 20 minutes for the waitress to come back to the table. During our meal, she must have stopped over 5 times, and all of the sudden, nothing. I tried to get her attention, but she was in a completely different state of mind. The more I waited, the tip amount dropped. Also, if you plan to use their "rewards", be advised the one for a free pizza is for a personal pizza. The app doesn't mention that, and neither do their table ads. It's been a good visit, followed by a poor visit...it's up and down at this place. read more

Ordered online through their website link on IG and got an email 30 minutes later saying it was ready. Got here and I can literally see them making my order as I was asked to sit at the bar. On top of that I get an email 30 minutes after I've been sitting here saying one of my items wasn't available....... While I'm still waiting for my order with no one here telling me this. Pretty sad because I liked this place when it was a wingshack location. I won't bother posting pictures because I'm just pissed. On top of that the host/manager or whatever the dude with glasses is tried to hand me my order and not even tell me about the unavailable item thinking I didn't know. read more

Great food and drinks. I always get the one with the meats and jalapeños but it's got a spicy kick to it so be warned. The tater tots are good too. But one time we got them and there was over abundance of salt on it. It completely ruined the flavor and all I tasted was salt. It's okay. I forgive you! Next time, I know to ask for no salt. I still ate it because I don't waste food but I was a little disappointed that evening. Solid food and the servers are really friendly and accommodating. Usually my go-to place after church. read more

It was my first visit. Initially greeted & ask to be seated. As a single diner was overlooked by wait staff. Moved to bar. Daniela was attentive & friendly. Berry Sangria was delicious. They have different varieties. Had the Pastor Pizza w/o pineapple. Sauce really good. Crust yes better than Pizza Hut & Dominos. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Had a tasty Mango margarita as well. Definitely would return. read more

Stopped at a local hotel for the night and really wanted pizza. The hotel clerk recommended papa johns but we thought we would look for something locally owned. We came across this place that had great reviews already so we gave it a shot. SO GLAD WE DID! The pizzas were delicious we got a cheese and the papa mikes. My mom said the papa mikes was one of the best pizzas she's ever had! We also got some wedge salads that were really good as well. Everything was nice and hot even after the car ride back to the hotel. Wonderful experience from start to finish! read more

We came and had the Buffalo chicken pizza and some garlic Parmesan wings. Both delicious! Had a minor issue (we are not those people) and asked the waitress to tell the cooks privately. She insisted on bringing out the manager and he made it more than right. We will definitely be back and bring friends! read more

Fantastic pizza and deep fried Brussels sprouts. Went for take out and was blown away by this gem. I go to the sister restaurant for wings as well. Going to try a calzone next time . If you are in the area skip chain pizza and get it ... it won't leave you hanging . read more

Highly recommend! We use to come to this place all the time when it was just the Shack wings but we will absolutely be coming here a lot! The pizza is in a word phenomenal! We got a regular Roni(just pepperoni pizza) soo good for a simple Pizza! Then we also got the buffalo pizza we were not sure what to expect but it was delicious. If you like the Shack wings you will love the Buffalo pizza! Can not wait to go back and try the other pizza options. They do also have build your own pizza and other options besides pizza! Go eat this pizza! read more

My wife and I stopped in while running some errands, and I have to tell ya, the atmosphere and service are top notch! The owner/brewmaster is still an active firefighter and has carried that theme throughout the place! The brews have a mostly fruit palate with mango, strawberry, black cherry, and orange creamsicle ales. You won't find Corona or Miller Lite here, nor do they have liquor. Ciders and Seltzers may appear in the future, but for now, those aren't available yet, but they do have some wine for those non-beer drinkers. Food Trucks in the parking lot will also be coming soon! I'm looking forward to Engine 3 becoming a staple of the community!

So why only three stars you might be asking? First off the price and yes I realize these are an indulgence not your average donut but $4+ is a little steep. Secondly, the donuts I picked out all had pretty dry doughs. You can eat them without but a coffee to wash them down is a needed addition which I did not know at the time I bought them. I don't know if this is the case here or not but the dough texture reminded me a little of Hurt's Donuts where they bring in frozen pre-cooked, undecorated doughnuts, then just decorate them with the various toppings.

If you ask the general manager he'll tell you that this establishment is like no other place anywhere when in reality it's like 75 different places in town. There's absolutely nothing on this menu that one my grandma can't make and two that differs from anywhere in El Paso. The absolute only thing good about this establishment is the waitresses and bartenders. They are amazing. So basically food is meh atmosphere is eh and bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Small minds gather in these places to celebrate old pastimes in typical El Paso fashion. If your really into new experiences and amazing food this is not the place for you. Best pizza I've had in a long time--easily above the competition around here. I usually get it to go, and it's consistently good every time. No drop-off, no surprises--just solid pizza. The waitresses are always friendly when I come in, which makes the experience even better. I also like that they've got multiple TVs going, so you can catch a game while you're waiting on your order.
