    Mushroom Swiss Smash with fries
    Samantha L.

My friends and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The menu has typical bar food - mostly burgers with some tacos and sandwiches as well. The place got decently busy but we were able to get a seat and get our food fairly quickly without any problem. Special shoutout to the waitress working that day, as she was the only one on the floor for a while but still did a phenomenal job taking everyone's orders, making drinks, and bringing out food -- while still taking the time to constantly check in on each table. I ordered the Mesa St. Smash burger and I thought it was delicious! The burger was really juicy, flavored well, and was really big. The burgers come on Hawaiian roll bread (unless specified otherwise on the menu), which I thought was really tasty. However, since it's 4 mini rolls toasted together, they do fall apart easily making it a little difficult to eat. The tots and fries were got as sides were super crispy and delicious! I also ordered a peach iced tea with my meal. They use unsweetened iced tea and then add in a peach puree syrup. I absolutely loved this since the tea was not overly sweet and had a nice peach flavor. I highly recommend ordering this for a refreshing, not overly sweet drink!

Came in at 10pm on a Saturday night and was lucky enough to have immediate seating for our group of 7. The server was incredibly happy to be there and made sure our cocktails were on point! The portions are large (see wrap pictured below) and the quality is amazing - even at 10 pm at night. Will absolutely come again!

Came here for lunch. At first wasn't too busy, but then it got packed real quick and there was only ONE server. We were patient though--we understood. But it seemed like a lot for her. I ordered the daiquiri with guava and mango. To eat, I had one of the fried chicken sandwiches that came with the crema and Hawaiian buns. The buns were too toasted and the chicken was way too dry. Honestly if it weren't for that, sandwich would have been real good. The fries were very crispy. Cool spot. I'd be back Updated RESPONSE: no it was Sunday. Also service was fantastic despite only one person working. No notes

Fun spot for a meal or just casual drinks and apps. Interior is pretty cool, and it's right next to the plaza. Prices are decent too.

Stopped here while on vacation in El Paso. Loved the vibe at this place. They offer good selection of draught beer. They did not have the beer ordered and the staff was able to recommend another beer based on my selection. I was impressed as I enjoy beer and not everywhere they know about craft beer, they just serve it.

Started the meal with an amazing coconut mojito. The smash burger was delicious, cooked perfectly and the Hawaiian buns are a fun addition. The cheese curds were also very tasty. The chicken bacon ranch tacos were just ok. The churros were nice and hot.

We Visited Unbranded Tavern & Kitchen on a Saturday after 11am after a quick Google search for restaurants that serve breakfast all day. The restaurant is located across the street from the San Jacinto Plaza in El Paso, Texas (best known by the locals as the "Plaza de los Lagartos). There is no street parking, and the garage next door is for "contractors only." We parked at a parkmobile location by the coffee box one block up across the street. There was only the option to pay half a day for $13 or a full day for over $20. Paid for half-day parking. The restaurant is pretty, and even though it has more of a bar feel, it is cozy. The service was just right. All the food was pretty good; We ordered the unbranded burger, street tacos, and machaca. Their cucumber mint cocktail was delish. Nice spot!

Right in front of San Jacinto Plaza sits this gem. Really doesn't not feel like a spot you normally get in El Paso, but I am glad it is. It has a rustic, elegant vibe to it. We got there early, so it was two other couples inside. Waitress took our orders quickly. She was very friendly and made you feel welcomed. My wife got coffee, and I got a frozen espresso horchata. DAMN that was good. Had a fine ice texture, not too sweet, very good horchata flavor, and that espresso kick you expect. We were brought some pork rinds and house made salsa(I asked if they sold it separately, it's that good, but they do not.) Very good starter We ordered their rolled tacos with half green sauce, half red sauce. Honestly, these are far superior to chicos or any other spot that has something similar. Packed with flavor and good amount of heat, meat was seasoned, they were thick too. Also ordered the Mesa St smash burger. Green chili queso, pub mustard, pickles. Sandwich with hawaiian rolls that you cut into.sliders. this was diabolically good, paired with beer battered fries. It was perfect. OH, and the best part of it was a crispy cheese skirt... It won me over with that. This was an amazing spot, perfect downtown location, food that turn any frown upside down, great drinks, awesome staff.. What more can you ask ask for??

Americans with Disabilities Act Discrimination (ADA) Review based on experience, unfortunately we didn't try any food or drinks. For a year I have been meaning to visit this restaurant. The all-day breakfast caught my interest. After fan-girling over their menu today I finally convinced my husband to check it out for brunch. We went, sat by the bar and had my husband's service dog (a 20-pound french bulldog) quietly sit with us by the bar. Quickly after we sat... the bartender and the manager informed us that due to the Owner's guidelines we could not stay and had to leave. No dogs allowed even if they were a service dog. This is unlawfully against the U.S. Americans With Disabilities Act. We never felt so low and discriminated. We will be reporting this incident to the appropriate agency. If you have a disability, or require a service animal PLEASE DO NOT go through this disheartening experience at this restaurant. ADA requirements are not met at this establishment. Staff were not at fault they basically explained that leadership requires this enforcement. This establishment is not meeting national regulations & they will be reported.

So the place has a very bar and grill vibe. The service is a bit slow but the food is good. The don't get to packed during brunch. I ordered the breakfast tacos, a grapefruit mimosa, and friend green beans. I'll be back cause the food was good.

I've been here 2-3 times so far and enjoyed the visit each time. The dining space vibe is casual but comfortable. The menu is simple but has all sorts of options to choose from and the service has been quick and pleasant each time. My favorite part might be the homemade chicharrones that come with salsa to start (similar to chips & salsa but different). I haven't don't great at taking pics but I look forward to future visits!

I've been here two or three times now and I must say they have a great location, great service, but only okay prices and okay food. This one is hard for me to review because I really want to love them. That's why I waited after a few visits before doing this. They are right across the Placita de Lagartos and I have been wanting a new place there for a long time so I'm a supporter overall. I've had the tacos, they are probably the best item on their menu however, you don't get anything else on the plate. No rice, no beans. This is El Paso, where I can go to a hundreds of mom and pop shops for similar tacos and side items for a lot less. Their fries are good, they have a distinct beer infused cheese flavor. The wrap was not okay for me. It was a huge portion but lacked any flavor for me. I will say though, check it out for yourself. Their service is really great and their version of chips and salsa is probably my favorite. You get pork rinds and salsa which is so yummy.

The burgers were excellent as were both the roasted veggie and shoestring fries. It was empty when we walked in around 7/7:30 but by 9p it was approaching half full... not bad for a Tuesday night. A dimly lit environment carefully decorated to theme, shows the intentionality behind The Tiki Room El Paso. I had been to their original location by the courthouse and this is a true 2.0 rebirth of the establishment. Now my fave thing to do at any spot is to ideally sit at the bar to get the full experience. What really stood out to me was the level of commercial kitchen equipment that ensured the kitchen smells and smoke didn't take over the place. It's all in the details. The staff here is super fun and engaging which made it all the better. My friend and I were served by Adam and their service with the food and drink program made it all the five-star experience one hopes to receive. If you're getting a drink or served by Adam then you're in for a delight. I had a zombie drink and the flavors were so well mixed that it was easy to forget how liquored up they were. This drink has a two drink maximum and lemme tell you, later that night it was clear why that is lol. I definitely had a good buzz flowing. My favorite part was the serving presentation which had the cinnamon sparks and flicks of fire. My friend was hungry and kept raving about the pork belly bowl and damn was she right. The pork belly was crispy and juicy with each bite. You can respect the aroma and fresh ingredients including green onions, pineapple, jalapenos, and fried garlic. You have to order one (maybe two) for the table. Take a look around and enjoy the vibes. It's an absolute must.

So I, of course, feeling the need always to explore new cocktail bars or restaurants in my hometown when visiting home, was pretty excited for the opportunity to check out Hush Hush. As a true millennial Gemini, I celebrate my birthday for the whole month, so I quickly texted my family and friends; this is where I wanted to go. What I love about Hush Hush is how it's encouraging and pushing folks to step out of their comfort zone in their attire and dress more to the vibes of this cocktail house (Think Soho, ABA, Casablanca, and Elephante). You're bound to see more desert tones, muted colors, flowy pants, basically anything resort wear. It's cool to see this cocktail house make you feel like you're not in El Paso. The music is different, more loungey, to where you can hear everyone at your table. Of course, there's still a DJ, but damn, Hush Hush is intentionally geared for those who love to go out but need top-shelf cocktails without the eye rolls or the bartenders staring at us with blank eyes. Hush Hush is a true game changer. The lines might get crazy, but I suggest getting there early so you can snag your photos and a solid table/spot. There are three main bar areas, but my fave was the velvet room. I suggest catching a drink on the second floor if you get there early enough to get an eagle eye's view of the establishment. Attention to detail was on point, and I appreciated the homework and research done before the opening of this spot. It's an elevated experience for the city and one I wish every city in the States had tbh.
