Time stops, and I can honestly say I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I get excited about a magazine, a newspaper, a comic book, a romance, a crime thriller series, etc to where I want to learn and know more. With every book, magazine, or newspaper, I bought the right to mark up a book for my enlightenment and expand my knowledge. I am a life learner. And Barnes & Noble feeds that addiction. Why doesn't someone live in a Barnes & Noble, like the Capital One guy? I can't put a price on education. Getting a membership helps save money!

Nothing compared to B&N though. The number of books they had as a kid was just mind numbing. I would spend hours looking at the comics and manga before buying some SF or fantasy book. These days I tend to just use libraries or local, non-chain bookstores. However there is still some nostalgia for this store. This location is a decent size, well maintained, and has a good selection. I've never had any issues with the staff. I haven't gotten anything from the cafe so I can't comment on it.

They have a wide selection of diverse and inclusive books. The owners are super nice and have great recommendations. There is also a small selection of art supplies in the back corner! I happily snagged a book about lesbian love stories. The best part about coming here is the precious and wonderful shop dog, Huxley. He is a sweet little pug who politely greets you and peacefully sleeps in the bed by the counter. He will come hang out with you and let you pet him if you ask! I would come here all the time just to sit on the floor and hang out with Huxley and get a new book to read! Support local bookstores!!!
