So you can buy all of your newspapers, magazines etc from Harpers as you would expect from a…read morenewsagents shop. They also sell a few cards which are a little dated, small selection of essentials - tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits etc and chocolate & sweets. They also have a few fresh sandwiches daily so if you are in a rush you can grab a 'buttie' from Harpers. They sell the lottery and scratchards, cigarettes etc. The downside to this shop is the overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke. The owner used to smoke out in the back room with the door open which made the whole shop stink. Unfortunately the smell didn't get any better after the smoking ban - the shop is still stinky and puts me off going in here. Saying that, the staff are friendly enough so I do continue to shop here for my choc!
