Terribly rude young man!…read more I came to Casa Grande, off season. to take care of my mother after her recent surgery. While she rested, I decided to see what the City had to offer. I thought the consignment shop looked interesting and since I love to shop in antique stores, I went in to see what they had in stock. I was not greeted for at least 10 minutes and when I did finally see an associate, a young man, I asked a question and was met with a rude answer, to which an older gentleman interjected and answered my question satisfactory. I left the store and returned 15 minutes later and was met by the young man again and he demanded rudely that I leave my lidded drink while I browsed the store. All this time he was carrying his own drink. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere. If I could rate my experience with no stars I would.

As stated in one of the other reviews they do have jerky and random goods. They do have a bunch of rocks and minerals. We got a giant geode for $35 which was an amazing price (see photo). Just wait until that thing is clean! They also have peridots for $1 each which we just visited another store and they were selling the exact same size and quality for $5 each. There is nothing else around but if you are passing by it is worth a look.

There is no "up and down." This place is a labyrinth designed by someone who said, "What if we hid Narnia behind every dresser?" I got lost at least three times. Possibly four. At one point I genuinely forgot: What I came for, which direction I entered... who I am as a person. Every time I thought I found the "main path," I'd turn a corner and BAM! secret pocket room. Hidden alcove. Side quest unlocked. Now, to be fair, if you are someone who enjoys treasure hunting, rummaging, discovering trinkets you didn't know you needed, and time traveling, this is your Disneyland. There is stuff. So much stuff. Trinkets. Bobbles. Whatnots, galore. Things your grandma had. Things your grandma refused to have. I went in looking for one very specific item. I did not find it. I did, however, find three existential moments and mild spatial disorientation. Did I have a good time? Yes. Did I leave with what I needed? No. Did I briefly consider dropping breadcrumbs to find my way out? Also yes. I could only add one advice... use that amazing pop corn popper and make the shop smell good and give away popcorn (or sell it) and you will be complete... the selection of antique and collectible items in Copper Gecko has never let us down... and we are antiquers from way back ! Rose, the owner, is great and it's a homey place to visit. We come back over and over.
