The only correspondence you will get via USPS, is them wanting either your signature so they can get paid OR to send you warnings not to do this or that, as it will slow your settlement. In a conference with another firm in August we learned that $$$ can be held in escrow for a limited time after the case is settled. 15 days is the general time in most states.
