Excellent craft cocktails We visited the Singular rooftop on a Wednesday night at 5pm in late Spring (late November). We had attempted to stop in for drinks a few days earlier but were told you had to have a reservation or be a hotel guest. Reservations are a must, and can be made easily online! The rooftop restaurant/bar has a well-decorated indoor area and an awesome patio space. The patio has some tables, some outdoor couches/coffee tables and of course a scenic view of San Cristobel. Our friendly server brought us our order of a craft cocktail (hard to pick as they all sounded great!) and a glass of champagne. We just wanted an appetizer before dinner so we did the Chilean meats and cheese board. The board was well-portioned and fairly large for two! We were the first people seated on the patio at 5pm, but by the time we left it was bustling. Highly recommend The Singular rooftop if you are visiting Santiago. read more

This is the place you go to for drinks only and the the beautiful ambiance. The service from the front desk (Arabtxa) was exceptional, but the food was not great or good (that was disappointing). Five stars for the drinks and ambiance but the food brings it down. I ordered a duck and it was overcooked and dry. The feedback was that the chef cooks it like that always. They apologized and even though I sent it back, I had to pay for it. If it was fresh and I didn't like the flavor, that's on me, but if it's old and dry, that's not on me, but that was the experience. I would only go back for drinks because now I'm too paranoid to try anything they cook. I hope the experience is better for you or they take this feedback and do better for all patrons. Hotel is located in the historic center, the rooms are large but lack of personality, very dark tone design throughout the hotel. It might be one of the best in town tho based on the location and service. The breakfast is strange; they do not have a menu but it's a La cart, so you don't know what you can order or what they have; and they speak very limited English so makes ordering even harder and awkward. If you are only here for short stay like most people I would still recommend this place as it's one of the best. read more

The singular is THE PLACE to stay in Santiago. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, this hotel is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. From the moment you check in the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is incredible. They are personal, remember your name, greet you with water, tea, coffee, etc anytime you step foot into the lobby and assure that all your needs are met. Located in the Lastarria neighborhood right outside the hotel are shops, restaurants and a great nightlife. With 24 hour door man and security as an American traveler I felt incredibly safe and secure during my stay here. The hotel is small, comfortable and feels so chic. Our room had two standard (full size) beds and a view of the city street, however no issue with any noise at night I couldn't even hear any neighbors! Located on the top floor is a rooftop bar with incredible views of the mountains as well as a pool to enjoy the skyline. Additionally, the hotel has a beautiful spa, sauna, and gym. I found the gym to be great as I like to always be able to keep in shape while on vacation. The room rate includes breakfast in the morning in the beautiful dining room. You can have the kitchen make up eggs any style or enjoy fresh bread, jam, fruit, cheeses, smoked salmon and some delicious fresh smashed avocado (what a dream for this vegan traveler) also - I was happy to find that they offered soy milk with coffee (wooo!) Overall, an amazing and comfortable visit at this hotel during a recent trip to Santiago. Although expensive, this hotel is worth it. The Singular is one of the Leading Hotels of the World, a hotel group whose accommodations are on par with that of The Four Seasons. Placed in a prime location in the historic and trendy LaStarria neighborhood, it is the only 5 star hotel in Santiago aside from the Ritz (which is old and dated). They have a restaurant, spa, and bars in the lobby and rooftop. Rooms are priced around $350/night, which includes breakfast. Every staff member that I encountered was lovely and welcoming. Check in was seamless, and I loved our room. Spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean, the ambience was stylish and luxurious without being overly trendy. The bed was comfortable, and turn down service is an additional bonus. Huge bathtub in the restroom, plus a separate shower with nice toiletries. Complimentary water and soda in the mini bar, which is restocked daily. I highly recommend making an appointment at the spa. I got a Therapeutic Massage (60,000 pesos, or $90 USD), which was one of the best massages of my entire life. This is a full body deep tissue massage with wonderful aromatic oils. The spa was beautiful and serene, and my masseuse was highly skilled. I also loved the rooftop bar, which has fantastic cocktails. My only complaint about our stay is the sad room service menu, which offers maybe 6 choices and no desserts. Fortunately, there are a lot of great restaurants around, and tons of UberEats options if you are feeling lazy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Santiago. read more

Singular Sensation! This newly opened luxury hotel is located in Santiago's hip Lastarria neighborhood. The space and decor is slightly reminiscent of Soho Houses. Its crowning glory is the rooftop with a lovely deck and petite pool. I cherished taking meetings from the sun-kissed sitting area. Step inside and you'll be in a clean, modern bar decorated with dark leather, polished marble and wood. Vintage Vogue covers, and city maps adorn the walls providing an extra dollop of classic and modern juxtaposition. Tip: The top-floor is ideal for private parties. They also have lovely underground meeting spaces and a chakra-centric spa. Sadly, the fitness center was still not open when I stayed there. I think they're still working out the Food and Beverage department. A group of us had dinner on the patio and it was a wonderfully casually high-end atmosphere. Apps were good but simple. The entrees were disappointing at best and practically inedible at worst. But the cocktails were on point. I'd love to see this hotel take their F&B up a notch or two. The good news is that a plethora of restaurants, shops, and urban life await just steps outside the hotel doors. It's location in Lastarria, just across from Parque Forestal, and proximity to Bellavista make this an ideal location for exploring the city. All in all this is a welcome addition to this city's hospitality scene. There's now a modern, upscale hotel option in Lastarria, Santiago's bohemian quarter. read more

We stayed here for two nights as part of our trip through S. America. The Singular was lovely! A small registration area so be prepared to wait if others are ahead of you (chill in their well-appointed lobby) but when it was our turn we were treated well. Staff is fluent in English (thank you) and willing to go the extra mile. We had dinner reservations one night off property and were trying, without success, to get a cab or Uber. Staff came out to help us AND called the restaurant to inform them of our delay. That rarely happens in the USA. Our room was fine, nothing to crow about but completely suitable for our time there. Oh...we flew back to the US from Santiago on an overnight flight and after spending a day touring the area we asked if we could shower in the spa. They graciously accommodated us and we were on our way back home feeling renewed. Lots of places to choose to stay in Santiago but The Singular is special. read more

This place is fantastic!! The staff are super friendly, helpful, and very attentive. From the second you walk in to check in you are pampered and treated very special. The onsite restaurant has great food, and again, the service is great. The onsite fitness room, pool, and spa are great. I loved being able to hit the gym, sauna, and steam room right onsite. I booked a two nights stay at this Hotel with my husband, which included a breakfast buffet. Nevertheless, when we checked in, we were challenged by the host in that our reservation didn't include breakfast. This was weird but after a brief discussion the host acknowledged her mistake and apologized for the confusion. Unfortunately, this didn't end here because on the second morning, another hotel host came to us while sitting in the restaurant table during breakfast to mention that our meal wasn't included. We again, now visibly upset, challenged that assumption by showing her the picture of our reservation which clearly indicated breakfast is included (see picture attached). After that rude interruption and thinking it was now over, another person came to us demanding to see the email reservation stating breakfast was included or otherwise we would have to pay for it. This was incredibly upsetting and embarrassing since it was done in front of the other guests. This really ruined our meal and morning. What kind of service is this for a so called 5-star hotel? As international travelers we have never been treated like this. A hotel is as good as it treats its guests. There are plenty of better hotels in the same area that we have stayed in and we will never come back to this hotel again. read more

I am so glad we stayed at this hotel in the heart of Lastarria district in Santiago. Hotel has 8 floors of rooms and every floor has 9 rooms. We stayed in two different types of rooms. One was the smallest size and the other one was with big window and a small balcony looking South. Rooms are quiet, big, comfortable, odor free. There is also a rooftop bar which we used a lot for after dinner drinks and afternoon jumpin in the pool. Good chill music and great cocktails for around $10. I highly recommend "the Savoy". Breakfast was included in our reservation and it was excellent, that came with specialty coffee drinks, fresh fruit juices, guacamole, jamon iberico and made to order omelettes. They Singular is a swanky place - the waiters wear white tuxedos - attached to an equally swanky hotel on Merced in the trendy Lastarria district of Santiago. I grabbed a table in the little courtyard which is separated from the street by a sturdy but tasteful iron grill fence and gate and has a large square planter in the middle with what looks like a maple tree growing in it. They were playing classics like "Misty" and "Yessir That's my Baby" at low volume from speakers in each corner. I ordered a glass of the house red (Pinot, served chilled which I don't mind) and a starter of oyster on a lemon and jalapeño foam which sounded interesting and came highly recommended by my waiter. I was intrigued by the Kingklip dieppoise with mushrooms, mussel sauce and prawns so I ordered this for the main. I checked with my waiter - Kingklip is conga eel. An amuse bouche of olive infused octopus served in a spoon arrived after I'd placed my order. Very tart, very tasty. The entree consisted of half a dozen shells served on rock salt and strands of fresh seaweed topped with foam. The oysters were extraordinarily rich and creamy, the foam tasted similar to the dressing on the octopus - I would have preferred more jalapeño than lemon in the flavour mix but still, delicious. Good start. I asked for the cocktail menu while waiting for the next course to arrive and ordered Miss Bramble; gin, pomelo, Limon, gome and creme fraische. The eel was just gorgeous - two succulent steaks in a lovely sauce topped with two large shelled prawns. Perfectly cooked and a wonderful balance of flavours. Singular was a real find, and I'm so glad I had the last meal of my trip here. Beautiful setting, great service and amazing food. Went for some drinks at their bar on a Friday afternoon, the atmosphere is great, you have a great view of Cerro San Cristobal. The DJ plays excellent music at an appropriate volume (not too loud so you cannot have a conversation nor too quiet that you cannot listen to it). Prices were a little on the high end, but beers cost about the same anywhere you go, so not such a big difference. Lastarria is right outside the hotel so great restaurants and venues are right around the corner. Definitely will be coming back. read more

I enjoyed dinner at The Singular during my stay in Santiago and must say the food was amazing! I had the steak with veggies and it was soooo good! The atmosphere is a little stiff since it is a 5 star hotel but if you feel like treating yourself this is the perfect destination. P.S. I also enjoyed a massage at the Singular spa which is located in the hotel. I was not staying at the hotel but was researching a spa to get a massage the afternoon prior to my return flight to New York City. And, wow, it was the best massage I've ever had in my life! we came here looking to kill a couple hours before our dinner reservations nearby. we were not disappointed by the rooftop bar, with its posh and modern decor and its view of the surrounding neighborhoods and parque metropolitano de santiago. we sat outside on comfortable white cushioned sofas and enjoyed our pisco sours and wine underneath the setting santiago sun. this hotel is more on the high-end, so expect price points to match. however our drinks did come with some complimentary light hor d'oeuvres, which was a nice unexpected touch. overall a great way to relax and watch the sunset over the city of santiago when the weather is warm and the skies are blue. read more

I want to thank all of the staff at the Singular for an awesome stay. From the doormen, concierge, upstairs bar and breakfast help. They all went out of their way to make our stay great. The food at the upstairs bar was awesome and the breakfast was great as well. The second day of our stay I woke up not feeling well and was very light headed. I tried to go out and walk around the neighborhood but really didn't think it was a good idea to spend a full day out. I told my wife to go ahead and do the day without me. I mentioned to the concierge I wasn't feeling well and they wanted to call me in the room a few hours later to check on me. The next morning I told the concierge I think I had a really bad sinus infection. His genuine concern went above and beyond someone just doing their job! I want to thank the concierge Antar Carrero for leaving the hotel and having me to follow him down the street to a pharmacy to get antibiotics. I am very impressed with the staff of this hotel and would highly recommend a stay here. read more
