This review is your sign to finally book your sugaring appointment! When you think of a mama, you envision someone who's sweet, lovely, knows everything and whose presence is warm and calming. SugarMama (Deborah) is all of this and more! I've never had sugaring done or a Brazilian done before, but years of poor shaving and ingrowns convinced me to try sugaring. The first time was so nerve-wracking to me, but as soon as I walked into her sugaring room and met her, I was instantly relaxed. The mood lighting, scented oils, and music are all incredibly calming and the music was specifically chose by her because it's proven scientifically to calm and ease your body/mind. The bed itself was so comfortable and plush that you don't even want to leave at the end (unlike the sterile doctors' beds). Deborah is the ultimate skin care queen and she makes the experience completely worth it. She's so warm and easy to speak with that the time just flies by and you leave with knowledge and on how to better care for your skin and I appreciate that they're real tips; not ways to upsell you on other products. There isn't anyone else I trust to sugar me other than Deborah!! She's worth the 1 hour commute because she really is that good. Her prices are so beyond fair and she is an absolute joy to talk to every time I go. Sometimes I go a few months without seeing her and no matter how long it's been, we always find have the best conversations and pick up right where we left off. I highly, highly recommend choosing Deborah to go get sugared. She has a gifted talent for what she does. Hair removal is painful but trust me when I tell you that Deborah makes it as painless as possible! This sugaring experience is the best I have had. Sugar Mama understands skin and had dramatically helped me reduce my ingrown hairs. She takes her time and her Studio atmosphere is so warm, peaceful and welcoming. The products are of the highest quality. I've been coming to Deborah for over 7 years, drive over 50 miles to come see her and will never let anyone else sugar me. Her shop is a rare jewel. Sugaring isn't completely painless but she will do her best to make you comfortable. Before I saw Deborah I suffered for years of ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation and now I barley get any ingrown hairs. She is worth the drive and money. read more

It took me about 3 years to be brave enough to get a Brazilian sugaring. I chose sugaring because of the natural ingredients and I've always had sensitive skin so hot wax was never great for me. Shaving that area always resulted in razor burn, irritated skin, ingrown hairs and uncomfortable grow out. Treatment room is clean and has a luxurious yet cozy feel. Deborah was calming and reassuring. (I was very shy and nervous) she worked at a steady pace making sure I was comfortable and offering breaks when needed. She guides you in breathing and never forgets the client is human and has nerve endings! I've been ecstatic with my results. I've branched out to getting leg, arm and underarm sugaring also. Been sugaring for over 10 years! This is one of my favorite places!! Love Mia! She's down to earth, funny, has good conversations with you, and makes the whole experience feel really comfortable. I love getting sugared here!! I first came in 2019 and had an amazing experience with Alicia! I moved away and tried other sugaring places but none compare to this place. Deborah is just amazing. The atmosphere is so peaceful and calming. She makes you feel like you're old friends and can chat the whole time. After trying other places, I can tell you for a fact that this place is the best! They really pay attention and make sure to ease the pain. Brazilians will have some level of pain to them but my experiences here have always been the most painless. Every time I leave getting sugared by Deborah not only do I feel baby smooth and more comfortable in my own skin but I walk out with such a positive energy. The dedication she brings to make her clients feel comfortable is unmatched and is what makes her stand out. I've gotten sugared by other people but I swear she is the least painful. Pain was a 3/10. Hair removal is going to hurt regardless so why not go with someone who hurts the least and has great energy? 100/10 recommend Ps. She even uses instruments and sounds to calm the body before getting waxed and I have to say it was amazing. That's just another fact to show her dedication read more

Deborah is THE sugar mama!! The space she has created is so warm and welcoming. Every time I get sugared it is an experience that leaves me feeling more confident. She pays close attention to detail and will tell you exactly how it is. I went in for my first time wanting a fajacial and she was honest and let me know I didn't need it! My hair grows back so much slower and I don't get ingrowns like I used to. I would recommend her for first timers or someone who is looking for their forever sugar mama. I found this gem many years ago before the business even relocated to Stanton. Sugaring services cause no irritation or reactions and it is not even close to as painful as a wax. I always book a sugaring service and a facial, if you love the full experience of relaxation and full work on your skin then the total surrender is for you! I always feel comfortable and relaxed at all my appointments. Make sure to book ahead since Deborah is high in demand she truly has the best techniques and experience out there. read more

First time sugaring with Deborah! I found Sugar Mama through yelp and I was not disappointed. I loooooooved my entire experience with Deborah. She explained what sugaring was and walked me through the entire process. Sugar Mama also offers facials and tanning as well. My results were spectacular and I recommend anyone who wants to try out sugaring with Sugar Mama to do so. You will not regret it. Location is a little bit hard to find! It is located in a brown office building right next to an RV rental. I was worried I was in the wrong area but don't worry that is the correct building. Once you're there at the building, they will call your name in the lobby area and they will go ahead and lead you back to the suite number. Thanks again Sugar Mama! I'll be back for all my sugaring needs. read more

Deborah is my go-to!! She's the coolest and nicest person ever. Used to see her at her Fullerton location but now she's mainly at this location. I srsly can't rave about her enough. Super clean, thorough, and fast with her work. With almost any kind of hair removal, you can expect a level of pain but Deborah makes you feel at ease so it's def manageable. Deborah is an absolute goddess not only is she the Sweetest person alive but she is a master at her craft. From her facials to her sugaring to her sound baths if I could give more then 5 stars I would. She makes you feel so welcomed and loved. It's like therapy but you actually come out cleansed physically and mentally. Her sugar paste is 100% organic and all hand made. Yes we do eyebrow tinting, sugaring with shaping and lamination. Please find under "services" when booking online.

I have never had this done and tbh a little shy to show my fupa...but will this work if it's been legit weeks without shaving or anything?

Yes it will work, and please don't shave. Be consistent with your appointments and they will tell you how to take care in between appointment.

Can I book an appointment in March (2020)? I'm trying to book online but it skips from February to April for both locations on the booking calendar.

How long do you stay hairless when you get a Brazilian wax?

Hello! The more consistent you are the longer the time gets where you stay hairless. Typically you don't see regrowth for 2-3 weeks!

What's included in the petite facial from the regular facial?

The "petite" facial is a express 30 min treatment includes cleanse, exfoliation and mask. The "grand" is a full 60 min treatment that allows time for extractions and massage.

And i am so happy that I decided to do so. Nancy did my Brazilian and was very detail oriented and quick. She used the hot wax and paper method with small sections. My 14 year old daughter was trying on bathing suits last weekend and she showed me how her lower back had a very thick peach fuzz. It seemed to be getting thicker as she has gotten older and she was really getting self conscious about it. I was considering getting it waxed but knew how painful that could be and if the person didn't know what they were doing she could get burned. Then I remembered seeing Sugar Mama on Facebook. I called Deborah right away and she squeezed my daughter in the same day. She really made her very comfortable and explained that she was going to be sugar waxed and it's a lot less painful. She was right, my daughter didn't even flinch and said it was a lot easier than she thought it would be. We will be seeing Deborah more often now and can't thank her enough for helping my daughter feel beautiful all over. Ladies if Deborah gives you any piece of advice or instructions to do at home ... do it ! She knows what's up, she knows what's she talking about. If you have any doubts about seeing her for any of services just do it, you will not be disappointed. She never tries to upsell. After seeing her I always feel rejuvenated and inspired not only because she provides amazing services but because it's so refreshing to come see someone you can absolutely trust and has your best interest at heart.
