Great experience - Cassandra was very professional, compassionate, and understanding. My sister uses a walker and struggles with mobility. Cassandra even sent us pictures and directions so that we would know right where to go when we arrived. She has a table that lowers to assist with mobility needs. She did a great job with waxing (and my sister is very happy and would like to go back to her). There are restrooms on both first and second floor, though the accessible bathrooms are downstairs, so stop there before taking the elevator up if you think that may be an issue. read more

I am a 29 year old light skinned Italian woman with thick dark black shiny leg hairs and Cassandra is the absolute best waxer I have ever gone to see. She waxes the way that waxers are supposed to wax. I literally had places on my legs where hair was missing that didn't grow back as well having hair that grew back in softer and lighter. Many of the waxers that I have gone to cannot fully wax my legs within their one hour appointment times even when warned in advance of what they will be working with. I often leave with fuzzy spots or hair that grows back shortly after the wax and much of the hair is broken rather than pulled all the way out. I only ever heard of waxings like Cassandra's from my Italian grandmother who used to model and work in the beauty industry decades ago. I never had the chance to experience a proper wax myself until I met her and haven't met a decent waxer since. She is such an incredible worker and so good at her job I hate that I no longer live in the area and can't go to her for my waxings anymore. If you get the chance please treat yourself to a proper wax by someone who actually knows what they are doing. Her technique will actually help lesson the amount of body hair that you have to deal with in just one session. It did for me. And that is what a waxing is supposed to do. Each wax is supposed to slowly kill off the root bulb that the hair grows from. If you have been getting your legs waxed with the same amount of hairs growing back in for years than your waxer is doing it wrong. read more

I got a Groupon to see Cassandra because I knew I would be in the area, and I'm so glad I found her! She was absolutely amazing and it was definitely the best waxing experience I've had by far. She was actually available earlier than my appointment, so she texted me about her new availability. I really appreciated how easy she was to correspond with. Waste of my fucking time. Bought a Groupon for 3 microdermabrasions with Cassandra. Firstly, it's very hard to make an appt. You have to go thru some weird 3rd party website. I showed up to my appt and she wouldn't do the treatment bc I use salyisic acid soap (for acne). I am pretty mad bc I am SUPER busy and dont have time to come back here and bullshit around. I asked her why she didnt email me the prerequisites before today. She had no response. If u need me to stop a product b4 my treatment, then please let me know so I dont waste my time showing up unprepared. I am asking groupon for a refund. My sister referred me to Cassandra because our last wax girl literally lost her mind. I'm kind of glad she did now lol Cassandra is located in #112 in Phoenix spa. I came for a Brazilian wax and it only took 20 mins! She used 2 differently waxes. One was solidified and peeled off without a strip (this one was blue) and another that she used for little hairs (it was honey-colored). The second one was used with the strips. My other waxer used a cream wax with the strips and it could definitely be painful at times but with this blue wax, it was a piece of a cake! Cassandra explained that the blue wax is a lot more safe and less painful. Apparently, the other method pulls off hair... AND SKIN! That explains the pain and tenderness. 1) text before to get an appointment 2) she has a groupon right now but her prices are already really reasonable 3) she has a waiver (very professional) 4) hurts so little, it didn't even phase me! 5) I'd definitely come back for other services too! I think I found myself a keeper! UPDATE: Cass is so accommodating to my schedule. She got me an appt within days. She also has a check-in 15% offer so use that, ladies! I did have some trouble parking but nothing crazy! I recommend booking weekdays in the morning for ample time. Cassandra was nice and friendly and the wax you can tell is good quality. I have been seeing Cassandra for YEARS now and I can't believe it's taken me so long to review her. I initially came to her through a Groupon special and on a recommendation from a friend. The only other place I've been to is Pretty Kitty. I thought the service there was decent, but it in no way compares to the service and professionalism I receive with Cassandra. Considering the nature of a large part of her business, I was initially nervous about coming in. I am a larger gal and getting a Brazilian when you're of a bigger size can be very intimidating. I have never felt awkward or out of place. I'm always greeted warmly and treated wonderfully. Not only am I always treated great, but I've even sent my friend there prior to her wedding to get waxed as well. It was her first time and she had an amazing experience as well. Here are FACTS that I can tell you as a long time customer. 1) Cassandra books all of her appointments. She is the sole person responsible for her schedule. This is true for her location now and her previous location. I have NEVER scheduled an appointment with a receptionist. EVER. 2) The layout of her treatment room is very functional. It is clear and direct which side of the table is the customers and which is Cassandra's. 3) Cassandra is a complete professional. I read a review that said she cussed through an entire appointment and was rude. Just had a Brazilian with Cassandra and I would like to say she's amazing! I've had my fair share of Brazilian waxing from different places and because I have sensitive skin, I broke out every time to the point my hoo-ha was swollen for more than a week. Like other post mentioned, I was in and out within 20 mins or so. She even sprayed a numbing solution since I was so scarred from getting a painful wax. No strands of hair were left and she even too out my ingrown hairs that was caused by the previous waxer that did a poorly unsatisfying painful job. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and Cassandra made sure she was gentle to my skin to the point I could say it was pain-free. I had my first facial from Cassandra and she was ah-mazing! She uses essential oil based products which is very relaxing and easier on my sensitive skin. I came to Cassandra the first time I got a Brazilian using hard wax. I am currently using an alias, as is my friend. As it was being my first time in this setting, I walked around the wrong side of the room and was immediately ridiculed for doing so. I wasn't supposed to walk next to the waxing pots because of some legality, which I was completely unaware of. How was I to know I wasn't supposed to walk in a certain area if I wasn't told initially? After that, the mood was set and it was awkward and I felt uncomfortable from the way I was spoken to. Imagine being talked to disrespectfully and getting an intimate waxing just seconds later... The service itself was up to par, I just didn't enjoy the customer service end. I had purchased a voucher for 3 Brazilians for a friend and for the 2nd visit, my friend had called th receptionist letting her know she was a few minutes away and the receptionist had said it was no problem since Cassandra was still in the room with another client at the same time my friend was supposed to have an appointment. When my friend did arrive, she was rushed through the process. Cassandra said she wasn't going to have time to do a full Brazilian so she was just going to do a bikini wax. Why would I spend the amount of money I did and not receive the service I was promised? Makes no sense...bad customer service all around. After that experience, she refused to go for her last waxing. All the while, Cassandra complains about how tired/sick she is while cursing and making you feel uneasy. I know I am just one review out of many, but please consider before giving this woman your business. UPDATE Cassandra is lying on her response, I guarantee she did perform a bikini wax on my friend and DID NOT reschedule or give a Brazilian. She indeed did cuss and wouldn't stop talking about her back problems. My friend did call the receptionist of the building that Cassandra leases from and she spoke a woman. Cassandra likes to waste your time and is highly unprofessional. I purchased a Groupon for 3 facials and after making 3 appointments in 3 months time I have yet to receive one. First time she waited until the day of the appointment to ask if I was using and Retin-A/retinol products or on any prescription. When I say I'm using a lightening cream from a dermatologist she says she can't do the facial and I need to stop using the cream for at least a week prior to the facial. If that's the case isn't that something you should inform your clients of when they book the session?! Why make me drive all the way to your spa and forgo all other plans for that day just to cancel? Anyway, I give her the benefit of the doubt that she's just trying to protect my skin and rebook. She doesn't have any other availability for a month. Next appointment- Cassandra texts me hours before the appointment to cancel because she hurt her hand. Again, I am an understanding person so I agree to rebook. Again she has no other availability for another month. 3rd appointment- I arrive 5 minutes late and she says she doesn't have time to do the appointment now. Ironically I was actually an hour early as she had a Cancellation for the appointment an hour before mine and I agreed to come early. But now suddenly she has no time. How disorganized and unprofessional to book your appointments back to back and on top of one another. At this point I'm done wasting my time with Cassandra. She fails to understand that people plan their day around this type of shit. I had to stop using my Rx bleaching cream for a week prior. For what? Nothing. I had to tell friends and family I couldn't attend certain events because I had an appointment scheduled with Cassandra that day.
