Located in a historical home on Main Street, the experience was a relaxing, sensory heaven with an added bonus of anti aging. I booked a 60 minute facial and peel with Lani. I was already really looking forward to it when I arrived, but as someone with a love for historic homes, stepping up to the wrap around porch made me swoon. The home is so beautiful and nostalgic, the wood floors creaking and popping underfoot, and this heavenly mixed scent of skincare/spa/baked goods...I couldn't always put my finger on the scent, but even as someone with sensory sensitivities, it was a sensory delight. Lani put me right at ease. She clearly knows her craft and I felt that I could trust her to perform a chemical peel on my face. The whole experience was so soothing and luxious, I nearly fell asleep. Afterwards, she made suggestions for follow up services to meet my skincare goals and some products to use in the healing process. There was absolutely no pressure, just suggestions, as I had also indicated on my paperwork that I was open to suggestions and recommendations. I appreciate that this is asked ahead of time. 2 days out from my facial and peel, my skin still looks amazing and the peeling is very manageable. I'm looking forward to returning next week for a massage and continuing to see Lani for my skincare needs.

My face feels amazing and it's so shiny now. The aesthetician put extra energy to educate me on facial products I should use to improve my skin and how to use them. I am not a pro so I appreciate it. I also had a Brazilian done after for the first time. Although I have nothing to compare it to I thought she did amazing helping me through my first time. Overall, great experience. I found this place just from driving by and decided I would try it for color after not having any…read morecolor in my hair for 2+ years. I wanted to go Burgundy red for winter (think red wine color) and am naturally a dark brunette. I emailed photos of what I wanted prior to coming for the appointment and was nervous because we were going away on a trip shortly after. The stylist who did my hair was really kind, I just don't think she knew what she was doing. My hair came out orange instead of dark red. I left because I was kinda in shock and she was really excited about it and didn't know how to tell her. When I got home my husband asked me what I did to my hair so that's when I realized I had to do something and change it. I emailed immediately and even called the next day after not hearing back via email and finally I just walked in two days later (and it seemed like they were avoiding me because they couldn't get ahold of the owners to figure out what to do). Eventually they scheduled me to come back the following day and tried to fix it but it was still super brassy. I spent over $240 (they didn't charge the second time) but still was really disappointed. Unfortunately I will not return here. Fortunately I found another awesome salon across town which is way cheaper and they seem to know how to use color. My hair has since been fixed (a couple hundred bucks later and a new stylist later).

This other stylist also had to put in highlights over dark color and did a good job. I did not find my stylist to be very receptive at urban euphoria when I told her it was much warmer than what I wanted, she basically said that was the best that she could do, and, that before the toner it looked much worse. As if that is supposed to make somebody feel better. I don't believe she let it process near long enough. She said that it was a good first step, as if I'm going to let her touch my hair again. What's really disheartening is I have never paid more for a cut and color, and I have never been less satisfied. I have since toned my hair down some at home because I was not going to go out in public the way that it looked before, I'm just sad that I have had to spend yet more money trying to fix this mistake. I even tried to share what had helped other stylist do my hair in the past but again my stylist was not receptive to this. I think she wanted to get out of work on time. I tried to maintain composure and be polite during the appointment because I can understand the amount of time put in, but when I got home and saw how bad my hair was my heart sank. I can not stop touching my face, it literally feels like a babies bottom, so soft and smooth and just glowing! I've already had a few compliments from people about me looking radiant with them not even knowing that I had a facial. I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with Kelly, allowing her to chose your treatment, and let her hands work their magic. She is a very knowledgeable esthetician and will make you feel at least 10 years younger...who doesn't want that?

I have never had a facial before, but it was well beyond what I could have imagined. The esthetician (Sandra) was so great, she made me feel very comfortable and let me know what she was applying to my face every step of the way. And during the 60 minute procedure she did not leave my side. After any type of facial creme or mask was applied she took advantage of the wait time and massaged my hands, arms, legs and feet. It was glorious! I think at one point I was drooling a little. Despite having had a gift certificate for this facial I feel it was well worth it even had I paid the actual price ($50 for a 60 minute facial+massage+aromatherapy). I am definitely going back and probably with friends to share the treasure with them as well! My face was just glowing afterwards, it was amazing and I felt so relaxed and refreshed from head to my toes! All ready for graduation! :)
