In my 20's I broke my 2 front teeth and got them bonded. In my 30's I needed braces due to earlier health issues. Fast forward to now at 51 finding Dr Zev Segal who truly is Magical!!! The office is divided in two spaces; area for adults and another area for children. When you walk in the waiting area it is bright and spacious, which included an easel, small table for writing, tv, and stuffed animals. After filling out the paper, Dr. Lam made his presence known as he formally introduced himself to us and our toddler. He sat down and spoke with us about his special technique with young children . At least 15-20 minutes later, my toddler had warmed up to him. We then walked to exam room and of course she was hesitant, however, she cooperated with them. They were able to get an X ray and he was able to examine her teeth with some coaching/sweet talk. Did she cry? Yes! Did she clench her mouth closed? Yes! Did they get the job done? Yes! I noticed she did less kicking, shouting, and screaming compared to last dental visit elsewhere. When finished she sat in the exam chair and played with the stuffed animals. I needed somme major dental work done. The x-ray technician was wonderful as well as the dental assistant. However I'm not sure who the other lady was but she came rushing out to the front desk when we were trying to schedule our follow up appointment to see where to go from there and she said we can't help you hear there is nothing we can do for you then she stated when would need either a maxiofacial surgery or another type of special but refused to reffer us to one she said we would have to find one ourselves. Well I did she'd a few tears as out in the parking lot as much as I tried not to. We tried to make appointments with the specialist on our own they said we would need recommendations from the general dentist I had seen needless to say they were no help Thankfully my Dr. Wrote me a recommendation. When we went to the maxiofacial surgeons they said the report was not detailed so it did no good and said I would need a great dentist to work with whatever team would be trying to help me restore my smile. So to summarize the woman was absolutely horrible and I'm sure God will deal will her.

Why don't they have a cancellation list? Why can't they call me when it's close enough to make the appointment instead of waiting until it's "too late." Do the secretaries care if the office makes money or not? Why do they keep bankers hours for appointments? A surly secretary called me and berated me and then tried to scare me into not rescheduling a month later. Totally awful. Go somewhere else. Is it evil to forget an appointment? No. Is it wrong to yell at customers who are late and then scare them into not rescheduling? It was a great office until the current secretaries became part of the picture. Plenty of other places out there that will work with you a LOT better out there.
