Her prices are AMAZING with an EXCEPTIONAL selection of riding breeches (from children-adults), same goes for riding boots, tops, belts, brand new helmets. It is a consignment store and Nan does ONLY takes the best and latest styles that are in perfect condition. She has a detailed eye with all her consignors. She also has a huge selection for your horse (saddles,blankets, bridles, bits, horse blankets, halters, it's all here!!) You will get an very personal shopping experience. This is the last time I will use this place to sell "used" items. It is nearly impossible to get them to pay you for the items sold. They have very stringent "guidelines" as to how and when to pick up a check, My daughter stopped in right after Christmas, they told her yes, she had sold some items, but she would have to return after the 15th of January, because that's when checks are written, I guess it takes them 15 days to write a check for such a small amount of money. I stopped in to pick up the check after the 15th, I was informed that I was supposed to call ahead and request that the check be written, SOI had to leave and come back in a day to actually get the check. How silly, when my daughter stopped in the first time she told them she would like her check and they would not mail it out to her since she lives out of town now. Whatever, no more Snooty Fox for us ! read more

My Lord, if every business was as pleasant to deal with as the snooty Fox is I would be a much happier shopper. I went in to get a replacement bridle and the owner spent half an hour helping me pick out just the right one and not trying to sell me the most expensive one on the shelves. This store will save your wallet! Anyone who is getting started in the equestrian sport or has been for years KNOWS how expensive it can get. My family and I have been coming here for 8+ years and will continue 2. It can be beyond frustrating when you out grow a coat/pants/boots within 2 months while showing throughout the summer. Nan and her staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to fit for you AND your pony. Have consigned with her over the years and never had a problem. My daughter will be competing in her first Horse Show. Trainer, Daughter, & Myself were shopping around & were directed to the Snooty Fox after having been shopping for hours. Trainer found almost immediately the "perfect Coat".....I hated it. A heated discussion started between us. MS. NAN TO THE RESCUE. She came over - heard both sides - & brought Coat after Coat to my daughter to try on. Ms. Nan at all times stayed calm, cool, & collected. During try ons, she explained to us the different reasons for each piece of the outfit - very cool info. Then she handed my Daughter a jacket & it was THE ONE - PERFECT. Living 1-1/2 hours away & being short on cash - Ms. Nan was Nice enough to hold it for me ( because they had another identical one ). I could call in my payment & they would mail it to me !!! The Snooty Fox, an equestrian tack consignment store in Alpharetta, GA, receives generally positive feedback, so I'm sorry to have to share this experience. (If you don't want to read the whole review, then please skip to the last paragraph.) On May 27, I went to the Snooty Fox to consign a pair of breeches I'd worn only once. They were like new and retail for $99.00. While there, I bought three items and spent just over $300. I love two of the items purchased, but the third, a pair of breeches I paid $129 for, stunk. Literally. The fabric was sour, mildewed and likely rotten. The smell wasn't noticeable when I tried the breeches on---oh no---the sour stench comes out as the fabric dampens, which I realized (to my embarrassment) during a riding lesson on a hot, humid summer day. Consignment stores typically don't accept returns, but in this case, since it seemed I'd been sold an item that shouldn't have been for sale, or accepted for consignment, in the first place, I felt it couldn't hurt to ask. I emailed the store using the "Contact Us" section of its website, politely explaining the situation, but asking for a full refund. I clicked "Send" and received a pop-up confirmation that my message was successfully submitted. When there was no response after a couple of days, I called the store on June 10 and left a voice message, referencing the email I'd sent, and saying I planned to come by that afternoon. As luck would have it, the store's owner was there when I arrived, but it was obvious that she wasn't happy to see me. She was there by herself, had two customers and her tone and demeanor toward me were very ugly. I expected some possible push-back, perhaps a little negotiation, but nothing like this. I was...dumbfounded. I waited patiently, thinking this might calm her down, while the owner finished with her two customers and helped others who came in after me. Finally, she was ready. My email to the store had apparently gotten lost, but instead of saying she never received it, the owner kept insisting I never sent one. At one point, she burst into tears, and divulged some difficulties she was having both at home and at work. Personally, I felt sorry for her, but as a customer, I just wanted my money back. And she'd been extraordinarily rude. The owner gave me a full refund for the breeches, and in the end, she apologized. But what gets me is how poorly she handled the situation. I mean, she could've refused a refund, or even a store credit, and I'd have gone online and written this bad review, anyway, with a slightly different ending. Or, she could've pointed out her store's No Return policy and offered me a store credit, which I would've accepted and eventually used (for anything but apparel!). But instead, she gave me a full refund, is out the money she already paid the consignor of the smelly breeches AND gets a bad review! Way to go, store owner. Hope you learn from this. read more

Bought a pair of boots from them in which in the store the zipper was messed up so we could only try on one boot. Made them aware of the zipper in which they said it was only a five dollar fix so no need to discount the boot. We immediately brought the boots to the store, repaired them (which was only $5) but when we finally could zip them up all the way, the zipper was actually come rely trashed. No longer just a $5 fix. Called immediately (only 2 hours after purchase) and they would under no circumstances let us return the boots. Threw away $150 on used boots that after completely repairing would of been cheaper brand new from Dover. No more Snooty Fox for me! read more

The rudest owner ever, not to be trusted. We found a nice looking pair of tall boots for my daughter. She tried them on on the store and we noticed that one of the zippers came off track. She first tried to say that we broke it, then told me or was an easy fix and gave me a place to go to get fixed. When I was deciding on weather or not to buy them, she said she did not care if we bought them or not. People always talk about how mean she is, but wow! They say she says very rude things like that to customers often. I'm sure if there was another consignment tack place around she would have a lot less business! read more
