This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The employee was so happy to help throughout the entire process. I loved not being rushed and we all were able to show our creativity in our own ways.

So fun! Great experience! Bring your own essential oil if you care about the smell;) so perfect for group date!

The Soap Factory is not a place I will visit again. This is a very low budget and dirty venue with broken chairs, filthy floors, and dirty tools/supplies. The worker was nice but often in the back and not available for help. I seriously question how sanitary the soap is, which is ironic

My daughter wanted to show us this place because she came here once with some friends. It was pretty fun I thought and they have enough soap molds to work with. The place was pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon. They have plenty of scents to choose from and the basic colors for the soap and paint. The concept is simple: grab your molds, pick up the scents, pick colors for your soap, find a seat then wait for them to bring you the liquid soap. You then mix it around until the soap hardens a bit. They take it and cool it off until it hardens then you can paint it. The total time takes about an hour. The cost is 5 a person plus 5 cents an ounce. We did several soaps and it cost us about 40 bucks.

Super fun activity for all ages. The whole activity took about an hour but we didn't paint our soaps after they had hardened.

The Soap Factory has so much potential! "Potential" is the key word here. Let me walk you through our experience here: -It was difficult to get instructions on what to do. You walk in, and you just kind of stand there until you happen to see an employee walk by. They need better markings, posted instructions, or a front desk with someone to help. -The molds were really gross!! They looked like they hadn't ever been cleaned, which is ironic for a soap place. -Overall, the whole place was a little dingy. It wasn't super clean, and it could be decorated more cutely. Even a few artsy pictures would add so much to the feel of the place! -There was a lot of variety with mold shapes, colors, and scents! There was so much to choose from. -Our paint got rubbed off the soaps when it was in the bag. This was sad because the lady helping us said she would spray it with something that would make the paint stay. -The whole place had a sort of weird feel. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but it was so soft that you couldn't hear it if you were talking. Also, our girl helping us, Chantilly, talked SO QUIETLY!! We couldn't hear her!! In the end, the Soap Factory is a fun place to go on a date or family night. It's something unique, and it's easy to do. If this place made a few improvements, it could really be awesome!

Such a fun activity! You choose a mold (they have a variety to choose from: holidays, shapes, sayings, activities, etc.) then you choose a scent, a color, and any mix-in you may want. Add your soap (it's a natural glycerin-based mix). Let it set, design it the way you want, and you are good. The possibility are endless! It's $5./person and then .05/gram for the finished product. It's great for groups, parties or dates, or individuals.

We made tons of beautiful soap

Absolutely love the Soap Factory. We spent our Saturday morning walking and eating our way back to our hotel and then came to the Soap Factory. We were greeted by David who told us about the process, ingredients and different projects we could work on. But our group of 5 ladies picked the soap making project which took 1hr to do. We walked in only wanting to make 1 soap but we all walked out with 2 lovely environmentally friendly scented soap. The prices vary depending on the size/weight of the mold. If you want to do work on a fun hands on project you should give this place a try. The knowledgeable staff will help you and guide you through the process and are very accommodating. I would recommend and definitely come here again.

Made a snowflake soap. Fun, fairly inexpensive and looks great!

Fun place for a date or for the family. I've been in when the place was empty as well as pretty full, and the experience was the same. David, the owner, was super helpful when I struggled to choose scents and mix-ins for my soap. $5 lab fee felt high when I first walked in, but I'm happy paying that after, I figure i used at least that much in essential oil, mixins and the mess I made. lol Prepare to spend an hour or more in the store. Soap takes a while to set and I spent a good 15 minutes just choosing a mold, color, scent and mixins.

Based on our initial experience, I'm not at all surprised by the low star reviews. If you do go,…read moreask for Lauren (prestige beauty advisor)! Having said that, my friend and I walked in and were not greeted at all or approached by the two employees standing near the door, talking to each other (instead of to customers). ‍ My friend and I had been wandering around for a bit when darling Lauren came up to ask if we needed help. Next thing we knew, she helped us find what we needed and had my friend sitting there at the "beauty bar" area and was helping her match foundation. I'd seen a sign about tips nearby but, when I tried to give her a cash tip when she was done, she said she couldn't accept it. Way to go, Lauren. Give that girl a raise!

What I saw from this location was completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed not only by…read morethe conduct of the employees, but also by the way management reportedly handled a complaint about that behavior. I came across a video from someone describing her experience at this location. Afterward, an employee named Eliza allegedly created an account specifically to mock and cyberbully her online. Instead of responding to criticism professionally, the situation apparently turned into personal attacks. The customer then contacted the location and spoke with a manager named Heidi. According to what was shared, Heidi said the employees had all seen what happened, yet rather than addressing the employee who allegedly harassed the customer, the customer herself did not help or make any attempt to take it down. That kind of behavior from both employees and management is disturbing. A customer should be able to share a negative experience or make a complaint without worrying that employees will ridicule them online, insult them, or talk badly about them behind their back. Based on what I saw, I would seriously reconsider supporting this location. The way a business responds to criticism says a lot about its culture, and this situation showed an alarming lack of professionalism and accountability. *update* I found out this was actually an older account, not a new one. I did speak with the manager, Heidi, and she told me she was going to look into the situation. However, shortly after that, the same employee, Eliza, posted another video with another employee, Kenzie. In that video, they appeared to backtrack part of the original story while also making new claims that this woman had been using products, touching things, and that this was the reason she was asked to leave. Those are serious accusations to make publicly, especially without showing any proof to support them. Instead of calming the situation down, this made everything worse and created even more reasons for people online to attack her. This is simply not how employees representing Ulta should handle a customer situation or complaint. It comes across as extremely unprofessional, and continuing to post videos and make additional accusations publicly only damages the credibility of the employees involved and the reputation of the store even further. Also still no attempt to stop her followers and friends from not attacking. I am not picking sides, just pointing out that how this store, employees and manager are handling this situation is wrong.

My experience was very disconcerting. While other shifts have been pleasant, this visit on 5/8/26…read moreat 4:20 PM was hostile and promoted an unprofessional, unsafe environment. I went in to use the ATM and asked for assistance when it malfunctioned. The store manager (an older woman with highlights) immediately became dismissive, telling me to "call the ATM company." When I tried to clarify, she became defensive, stating she had "nothing to do with it." I walked away to avoid further conflict and said quietly I would let the store take care of things as they saw fit. She chose to yell after me in a petty and hostile tone in front of multiple other customers. After looking online, I realized this is a documented pattern and has happened to a ton of people. This specific manager has multiple complaints dating back over 6 months minimum regarding hostility and, more disturbingly, allegations of forbidding customers from speaking preferred languages or being hostile toward foreign accents. Both are potential civil rights violations and clear instances of discrimination. I filed a formal complaint with corporate. No customer should feel unsafe or witness discriminatory behavior in a place of business. I'd rather pay ATM fees somewhere else than go back to a store with such poorly chosen leadership. I look forward to corporate taking action to ensure this location goes back to being a professional and welcoming place for the community.
