Great experience for my mom's birthday! I booked an appointment for my mom to get her hair washed and styled before her birthday party, and she had a really good experience. The stylist was wonderful, she made sure to check that the products she used were okay since my mom is sensitive to certain hair products, which we really appreciated. When you walk in, you notice the aesthetically pleasing sign, clean windows, and chic vibe exuding from the entrance. After you pass through the threshold of this blow dry bar's doors, you are greeted by a friendly receptionist who takes your information and then asks you what drink you would like. They have a drink menu with creative soda drink names like "Birds of Paradise," including coconut flavor and some other yummy mix-ins. The lobby has a boho/boutique vibe with an assortment of adorable hair accessories, products, jewelry, face masks, and cute wallets and purses. Great if you need to pick up a quick gift after getting your hair "did." After you get called by your stylist, you are then walked to your styling station to discuss what look you would like for the day. This then prompts a transition to the shampoo bowls, which by the way, is my FAVORITE part! The chairs are messaging chairs that turn on when the stylist begins washing your hair. They are amazing and worth every penny to come to Wild Ivy to get your hair styled. After enjoying a relaxing shampoo/conditioner treatment, you make your way back to the stylist chair, and the magic begins. Please sit back, relax, and let the experts do their thang. This is now my fourth or fifth time visiting Wild Ivy, and I have brought my daughter with me twice and a friend, and every time we have seen, we have been delighted with the results, so much so that I have joined there blow dry bar membership. I gave up lashes, folks, to be able to have this membership. It tells you how much I enjoy visiting this business!!! I leave you with one parting thought, if it looks clean, it runs clean. This is for your Spanish Fork location since it's "missing" on Yelp. BEWARE that if you Exceed your 60 minute appointment (regardless when they started or if your stylist isn't quick) the manager will surprise upcharge you at checkout for 90 minutes and if you object they will charge you anyways! I just called my bank and they happily challenged the charge and returned the money to me and blocked Wild Ivy from running my card again. Nobody likes a surprise charge after the fact and then "we just pushed the charge through" anyways because we have your card on file. There's other Blow Dry Bars that don't operate like this like PRO DO. read more

Horrible customer service especially as once a loyal customer. Plus they only have one girl in their whole salon who can remove hair extensions. The managers need to be trained better on customer service as they were very rude. The owner needs to go over some things with these managers. I went to Wild Ivy to have my hair and makeup done before a boudoir shoot. My eyes are heavily hooded and I've never been happy with professional makeup. I even brought my own makeup with the expectation of needing to fix it afterwards like I have always had to. Charity did my makeup and it blew me away at how incredible of a job she did. My hair was absolutely stunning as well. I made sure to run all the extra errands that day because I had to show off my look as much as possible. WildIvy Blow Dry Bar is in the same shopping center as Olive Garden and target, right off the freeway at American Fork exit. They just had their grand opening October 10 of 2019. The shampoo chairs recline fully and have massagers built-in. The stylists put a towel under your neck so it is more comfortable while your hair is being washed. The stylists are very knowledgeable about all things hair and very kind as well. They also give you a complimentary drink from the fountain while your hair is being done. Or you can pay a few dollars extra to upgrade your drink to one of the fancier drinks. They also have some accessories for sale like hair clips, bows, scrunchies, brushes, and hair products. There are lots of different hair services to choose from: cuts, color, style, braids, make up. You can even bring in your child to get their hair washed and styled for $27, it's called the little ivy package. A wash, blow dry, and style for an adult is $37. But since this location is still very new they have had some specials such as book with a friend and you both pay $30. Or post a review on Instagram and you get five dollars off. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff at Wild Ivy Blow Dry Bar is. My girls and I LOVE getting our hair washed and styled, and the service has always been exceptional every time we've gone. From the massage chairs and beautiful decor to the accessories and products, every detail has been well-thought-out. I came in because of a recommendation from a friend. I've been to a blow dry bar before, and I felt like I was wasting my money. But coming here has completely changed my perspective. The owners are here making sure you feel comfortable, the girls that work here are incredibly nice, and they made me feel like a princess!! Also the products are carbon neutral and biodegradable. I was looking forward to my appointment and was disappointed. This was my first visit. The stylist acted afraid to touch hair, turned me away from the mirror the whole time and I was looking at a dirty floor my whole visit. She completed my style and and didn't comb out the curls and I felt the style was uncompleted. I went out to my car and combed out the curls so they looked like beach waves and finished the style I paid for. I was just walked to the front where the receptionist has their feet on the desks and and others were sitting all over the front desk. I felt like this salon was a teenage hang out and everything was rushed. Don't waste your time. read more

As a membership holder, I expect more than a "so sorry" considering the amount of grace I've given for half done jobs and still included tips because I know their job isn't easy and hey we all have long days. Terrible customer service. I originally booked a wash / dry online for my daughter on her prom day, there were several appointment times available. We changed it to a dry style and later realized we needed a wash / dry as originally scheduled, so we called and they completely refused to accommodate the upgrade request forcing me to cancel the appointment and then charged me $20 cancellation fee. It's unfortunate that businesses would rather charge a cancellation fee than provide a more expensive service. ProDo was more than happy to have our business. read more

Literally the worst experience. I had a membership for a month and then even referred a friend to come in but they consistently were late to appointments, had the salon closed when I had an appointment and the one time I brought a friend in (after scheduling clearly that it would be a girls day appointment with TWO PEOPLE) they got upset that we wanted to sit together rather than being separated across the salon. I never made a complaint, never said anything negative to them and ALWAYS tipped. After a visit to them in which they pulled out my extensions and left me with partially wet hair on Valentine's Day, they called me stated that they "are the Great Clips of blow dry bars and you shouldn't have such high expectations". Literally those are their EXACT words. So just beware of what you're going into, if you're looking for a salon experience, look elsewhere.
