I received a text that my 3 short sleeved shirts had shipped 1/7. When they did not arrive by 1/18, I used the chat feature and was told that I needed to be patient. On 1/21 I called as the shirts still had not arrived and was assured that they would be delivered at 7 PM that evening, but nothing. On 1/23 I called back to hear yet another story and the girl told me that they only had XL shirts and she could process a refund, which never happened. On 1/30, still no shirts in hand, I called back to hear yet another excuse that now they have been lost in the mail (despite the carrier saying they do not have them). I asked to speaking with a manager and was immediately told that no one was available, without even checking. I have placed so many orders with the pro shop, this is the first issue that I have had but the excuses are out of control and no one is on the same page! I still have no shirts, no refund, and no one from management calling me back, despite my requests.

Three days before his party the Gods smiled upon us. A store opened nearby called..."King Tut". Apparently the name, "Egyptian Gifts For That Kid That Is Really Into Egypt" was already taken. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room. BTW-they also do custom jewelry and jewelry repairs. Ashraf and his staff are knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Welcome to Mansfield, success to you!

My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
