I have ordered online from Hallmark and shipped to home or picked up orders there, so I assumed that Hallmark and the Paper Store are one and the same. Not the case. Today, I picked up an order but upon opening immediately in the car, I found that one product was loose in the box and broken in 3 pieces. One other item was missing altogether. Two items were in good order, just poorly boxed which is unusual for Hallmark but it is their busy season. I had the pre-paid order detail and after going back and forth with Paper Store Manager and Hallmark Manager (on-site), i was told they couldn't help me with a refund or exchange because they aren't Hallmark. I had no idea. It was not a good customer service experience but I've never had a problem there before, just the opposite. The one time I did I was basically told we can't help you and there's nothing we can do. You have to deal with Hallmark even though they carry the same products in the store. I was told I could purchase them from them though but not an exchange. Just want to share if you pick up an order there and you have a problem they can't help with it. It's just a pickup place.
