Neighbours who raise concerns are met with snapping responses rather than accountability or courtesy, which only worsens an already tense situation. A dog daycare or boarding operation may be fine in a commercial or industrial area--but this level of noise does not belong in a residential neighbourhood. This is not about disliking dogs. It's about respect for neighbours and zoning appropriateness. The ongoing noise feels like a permanent intrusion into what was previously a calm and friendly area. I would strongly caution anyone considering supporting this business to think about whether this type of operation belongs next to people's homes.

Our dogs whine as soon as we pull in their driveway. they arrive happy and leave satisfied. As most pet owners love their dogs as much as we do, its difficult to leave your pets with just anyone. Penny is a dog behavioral specialist and Marvin is a trainer handler of Police dogs. Paws in the Bath - Extremely Disappointed and Will Never Return…read more I took my two dogs to Paws in the Bath and had one of the worst grooming experiences I've ever encountered. A week prior to their appointment, I personally dropped off their medical certifications and provided printed photos of exactly how I wanted each dog groomed. The staff member behind the counter with tattoos accepted everything. Because the groomer wasn't there that day, I made arrangements to take the afternoon off work on the day of the appointment just so I could meet with her directly. Shockingly, the groomer (Mina?) had no record of the paperwork or the photos I submitted. I had to go back to my car, get my phone, and show her the grooming style again. Despite this, she completely disregarded every instruction I gave. For my terrier, I specifically asked for a "tipped" look and made it clear that he should not be shaved. He was shaved down with uneven, poor scissor work that looked nothing like what I asked for. As for my second dog, I asked that her eyebrows, mane, and ears be left long -- she came back with her eyebrows gone and the hair around her mouth and ears hacked short. Both of my dogs looked awful and have not been themselves since. I still paid the full bill and even left a tip -- at the time, I hadn't realized just how bad the grooming was. After receiving a text message from the company, I replied and expressed my disappointment. I've received no follow-up or apology. I will never return to Paws in the Bath, and I strongly urge others not to take their pets here. The lack of care, communication, and accountability is unacceptable. Do not risk your pet's well-being.
