Found a deal for a massage from Living Social. Was a bit of a maze within the Inn but eventually made it to the Spa. Amazing aromatherapy massage with paraffin treatment of my hands and feet. Felt totally pampered and my therapist frequently checked in to make sure the pressure was appropriate. Lovely place with a medival castle like charm to it. The snacks included almonds, biscottis and apples. Your choice of cucumber or lemon water. My voucher came with a choice of a latte or cappuccino. Unfortunately, there was no pool or whirlpool but the women's locker room had a small sauna that fit one person. Very clean environment with friendly staff. read more

My boyfriend and I came the spa for a couples massage. My first impression was that the receptionist was uninterested, seemed very busy and treated us like we were in the way. The second red flag was the quality of the robes, which were stiff and felt like they came from a sale at Walmart. It went more downhill when we were taken to the salt chamber room which was a horrifying room with an industrial style fan that made creeking sounds as it blew salt at your face! Fortunately, the massages were acceptable and provided a reasonable level of service. At the end, the receptionist walked by my boyfriend with a jug of water and didn't even bother to stop and offer him some. It was definitely not luxurious and we would not come back, the customer service was horrible and the quality of spa needs improvement. read more

Yesterday was my first time at the Old Mill Inn Spa. Would I return? Yes, definitely! The staff is very courteous and friendly. The RMT who did the 60 minute massage for me, Judy, was very apologetic when she got my name wrong at first and very professional and nice after, made me feel totally at ease. The massage was very relaxing. The change rooms are very clean and well maintained. Plus, there's a quiet room where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks after. While the staff and the treatments are lovely, the ambience is not as relaxing and private as other spas. I thought it was just my opinion until I tried it a second time in May 2016 with my husband for a couples massage and he noticed the same. The problem is how the spa itself is set up. The busy check-in counter is in between the "quiet" room and some of the treatment rooms. So, while you're in your robe and slippers you need to walk through the busy reception area. Also, everyone needs to walk through the "quiet" room to get to the change rooms so there is constant traffic. Combined with the bright lighting and limited seating, it feels more like a medical office waiting room than a quiet relaxation room. During the 1 hour massage, we could hear all the commotion and noise from the reception area. The masseuse had to leave the room to tell people to quiet down and close some doors and that didn't help. read more

Poor Customer Service! I attended a lunch at the Old Mill. When I got home, I noticed my bracelet was missing. I asked if someone could look for it as it was the only place I went and it wasn't in the car. The woman who answered the phone said "NO." Despite, It being only a small area she refused to have someone look. read more

I have come to the Old Mill Spa for facials, pedicures and manicures in the past. They are clean, professional and the atmosphere is relaxing. I must say this time I'm a bit disappointed. I booked a pedicure and a paraffin treatment and it was confirmed. A few days later I get a call that my esthetician has an emergency and that my appointment has been downgraded to an express pedicure. Express it was indeed. Hardly any buffing of calloused skin, one coat of polish because it was so old and thick, and no paraffin treatment. This is for my daughter's wedding in Cancun and I wanted everything about my appearance to be perfect. I don't blame the esthetician - she did what she could with the tools she had, but I chose Old Mill for star treatment. I was gracious, but I almost want to cry. She gave me the old bottle of polish for touch ups. I saw the people next to me getting the full treatment and paraffin wax. I will think twice before coming back. I know that one coat of old polish and unbuffed skin will definitely not be very attractive on the day of the wedding. They should have provided me with someone who could do what I specifically asked for. I could have gone to the salon down the street from me - I probably would have gotten better for my money. read more

So I am eight months pregnant and was looking for a nice relaxing and somewhat firm massage for my feet and legs. My husband and I went here for pedicures for the first time today. I was so disappointed that I will likely never be back. The lady that did my pedicure left for 10-15 mins during mine and didn't even tell me that she was going anywhere. The massage was pitiful. As any pregnant women will know our feet and legs start to get fairly swollen by this last trimester during pregnancy and a nice deep feeling massage on my feet is about the only place it's allowed to happen. Was soooo disappointed that I will likely recommend that no body I know goes there for a pedicure ever again. Really don't understand how that was a "spa experience". read more

Just walk in and found out my appointment was cancelled without reaching out to me! No message on voice mail and no email and the attendant at the front desk did not took proper note of my email address. The manager is on Holliday until mid-July and the girl at front desk did not really apologize and just stated they would not just cancel. Well went there years ago and did not go back because of their poor services. Well one can say they certainly have not improved. They must get enough drop-in clients through the hotel that they are certainly not interested in retaining clients through courteous services! Would not advise you to go there there are so many wonderful spa in Toronto that do really care about their customers! On top services are expensive and not worth the money. My facial was rescheduled and what was supposed to be a hydro sonic facial meant actually using a special brush for couple minutes at the most and massaging some creams! Nothing specials and certainly no amazing results like it claims! read more

This spa was relaxing and the staff were very attentive and professional. There was lots of paid parking across the street. My massage and facial were great. It's a smaller place with character, which is nice if you are looking for a relaxing day out. My only possible complaint is the 'steam room' are actually small units in the change room. Overall it was a good experience and I would return. read more
