I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. Then he sent me this: Non Package Pricing for Services Received by Mehmet Erkus Thru 2/5/2025 Services I received: If I were to complete the whole treatment: Full Legs - $450x3= $1,350 Full legs- $450x6= $2,700 Brazilian- $450x3= $1,350 Brazilian- $450x6= $2,700 Full back- $400x2= $800 Full back- $475x6= $2.850 Full Arms- $425x2= $850 Full Arms- $425x6= $2,550 Under arms $275x3= $825 Under arms- $275x6= $1,650 Full face- $275x3= $825 Full face- $275x6= $1,650 Chest- $400x2= $800 Chest- $400x6= $2,400 Buttock- $300x2= $600 Buttock- $300x6= $1,800 Total = $7,400 Total = $18300 I really tried to reason with Kevin, the manager saying that yes you have a point I should have been more careful by reading the whole disclosure package before signing, that's on me. However, it was never mentioned or explained to me by the staff that once you sign this there's no return. I also did not know that the whole treatment would take 12 months. When I consulted with one of the practitioners, she gave me a piece of paper on it written how many sessions needed for each body part mentioned above 4 & 8 weeks. I thought I'd be done in 8 weeks. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.

There's been quite a change since Dr. Farris is no longer in the office. She had the best personality, was funny and yet very thorough. Her diagnoses were spot on. I really miss her, the office milieu seems to have changed since her exit. Sanova Dermatology has a Baton Rouge location which someone mimics the Metairie Road office before Dr. Farris' exit. I am really, really sorry, Dr. Farris appears to have given up her practice and is no longer practicing. I have had a great professional relationship with Dr. Farris for over 20 years. I was shocked to read a substandard review of her. I do not aim to in anyway discount or discredit anyone else's adverse experience with Dr. Farris, but my experiences were always thorough, professional, and extremely accurate. I don't live in the Greater New Orleans región and yet I've traveled to her uptown office, Metairie office and now Metairie Road office. She is a wealth of information and committed to continuous learning. She's definitely the epitome of what doctors should strive for in the practice. Dr. Farris, you are missed. Wishing you good health, happiness, and a wonderful retirement. I had a granddaughter who was training under her, not sure where she landed, but, it would be nice to know. If she's anything like a grandmother (Dr. P. Farris) she's going to be an excellent dermatologist. My rating of 4 stars represents my past experiences with Dr. P. Farris, as I am not familiar with the other doctors practices, in the office. However, if she is anything like P Farris, the rating would be 5 stars.
