it's not often i would take time to write a review, especially for a luxury business like the st regis spa, as you'd expect nothing but the best. but so many times "luxury" services are really a bunch of obsequiousness inside a nice building.. not worth mentioning. however, i just had a massage this week from the lead trainer of all the masseuses at the St Regis in Aspen, my apologies his name escapes me.. and this was just next level. It wasn't just a massage, you could tell there was actual training, to the point that it was almost therapeutic or medical level. He also took the time to advise me some of my muscoloskeletal issues, which after years of motorcycle and sports injuries are many. Today i'm wearing toe separators thanks to his advice and it's literally life changing for some of the lower extremity injuries i had.. already can feel the difference. needless to say, i'm so grateful for the extra time, care, and knowledge this professional exhibited. The location was of course great, the spa is awesome as you'd expect at the price.. but the people, make the difference. I wanted to take the time out of my work day to write this in authentic appreciation of this professional's skills, and how well he reflects on and elevates the place where he works. read more

WOW! Are there even words for this experience?! I had the pleasure of visiting the spa on a vacation while in Aspen. From the moment you walk into the St. Regis doors, the attention to detail is IMMACULATE. The spa exudes luxury and relaxation from the scents to the ambiance and even the soft voices of the staff. I was beyond impressed with the amenities you get access to when booking a spa service. Upon arrival, they give you a tour of the facilities and walk you to your locker where your robe and slippers are waiting. The women's amenities area is lovely with lots of products available. They have a very large and clean locker room, multiple private showers, a steam room, hot tub and cold plunge. One of my absolute favorite areas was the co-ed swimming pool with the waterfall seats. It was f*cking relaxing!!!!! Let's also talk about the co-ed relaxation room! My favorite!!! Complete with club-like couches, day beds, chairs, etc. comfy blankets, reading material, a fireplaces, a snack and drink bar with little bites, hot tea, water & sparkling wine of course. You can even order food/meals directly from the St. Regis restaurant to the relaxation room if you plan on making a whole day out of it. They also have the oxygen available for use if the altitude is kicking your butt like it did to me I received a 60-minute massage from Jaime which was AMAZING! Hands down best massage I've ever received. I could've stayed there forever!! I also got a facial from Zuska -- she was absolutely lovely and we had great conversation. Let me start with the positive. My massage and my facial were both fantastic. The massage bed was amazing. But I can get great massages and facials at lots of places. When you come to a St., Regis Spa, it's the whole experience that you expect to be superior - and it was not. First, trying to reach them on the phone to schedule was ridiculous. I had to call multiple times and leave 2 messages over the course of two days just to get someone to call me back. I arrived half an hour early as the email instructed and the doors to the spa didn't even open until 15 minutes after that. The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant. The facilities were nice but the chairs in the relaxation lounge were not comfortable or inviting. I want to hear, tranquil, spa music from the moment I step into a spa. It provides the ambience that I want from the beginning to the end of the experience. The only place where I heard spa music was in the treatment rooms. The last aspect that totally turned me off was the number of people talking on the cell phones inside the women's locker room and the hot tub area. Even though there were staff walking through, none of the staff asked the customers to get off their phones. Thankfully, I absolutely loved my massage and facial but otherwise I would not waste my money to come back here. I expected a five star experience and got a three star at best. read more

My husband and I came to the StRegis as our third attempt at our honeymoon. The hotel staff has been amazing, but having just finished our "spa day", I need to write a review for these folks. Renee was phenomenal. Not only a great 90 minute massage, but local sight seeing and restaurant recommendations! She even took the time to write the names and addresses of the places we talked about - how awesome?! She was super friendly and genuine. So grateful for her hospitality in this city. Leslie helped me pick the perfect color for my pedicure and skillfully rescued my feet that were WAY overdue for their pedicure due to COVID. Every staff member here has checked in with me whenever they passed me - how's my day; do I need anything? The COVID cleanliness precautions made me feel safe and secure as well. On our last day of an extended weekend staying at the St. Regis, we decided to splurge a little more on massages. We arrived an hour and a half early, after check out, but were still allowed access to the spa right away. The staff is incredible, from the check-in, to the attendants, to the actual therapists themselves. The lockerooms are clean and the showers are amazing - their bath products smell incredible and are surprisingly hydrating for a hotel line. The O2 lounge was an exciting and special touch to this Aspen venue, and the lounge chairs were cleaned between each guest as well as spaced far apart. I really liked that there were both gender-specific and co-ed pool rooms, so I could soak in the hot tub solo before joining my fiancé in the waterfall pools. The best part of the day was by far the massage. I had booked a 60 minute and wish I'd done more! My therapist's name was Stoph and he was amazing! He also mentioned that they'd recently received the Forbes 5 Star designation which is amazing, and well-deserved. The massage was completely customizable and Stoph made sure to keep me comfortable the entire time. My fiancé and I can't wait to come back for a massage this ski season! read more

It was $400+ ($530 actually with the add on of host stones and 90 minutesassage time) for access to small bathing areas and a mediocre massage. The person I had asked me if there were areas I wanted to avoid, and then would not stop pressuring me to massage those areas until I relented. My lady friend treated me to my first "real" spa day here while we were visiting Aspen and it turned out to be an amazing experience. They provide you with a nice comfy robe and slippers to wear around the premises as well as your own locker to store your stuff. I made the mistake of not bringing real swim trunks so definitely bring that for the jacuzzi, steam room, and "waterfall" room that you can relax in before or after the massage. We got the 90 minute couples whole body massage...which felt awesome after a long day of hiking the day prior. I don't have much to compare it with but it felt really good to me! They have an oxygen room which we tried just for kicks...decided it's not for me but it's available if that's your thing. They also have a room to relax and drink hot tea which I spent almost an hour in just chilling. After you get the massage, you can access the facilities for the whole day afterwards to enjoy their amenities. We had to get back to Denver so only stayed 3-4 hours but you are definitely welcome to stay longer if desired! read more

Lovely spa located within the St Regis in Aspen. I've visited this spa on numerous occasions and I've always been pleased. They have a jacuzzi and steam in the women's locker room and then a joint jacuzzi in a coed room, which is wonderful if you're having a couples massage. They waiting room has healthy snacks and tea and there is an oxygen lounge for you to rejuvenate after your traitement. Treatments are expensive but always top notch. The beds are heated, which is a nice touch after a day in the snow. Be sure to book in advance, especially during the holidays. read more

I just had the worst massage of my life at the Remede Spa. I booked a 60 min full body massage. The male masseuse stayed on a tension spot on my back for 45 min of the massage. Not massaging my back but holding certain pressure points and making me do exercises. He only asked me if it was ok that we spent that much time etc after it was over?!? I don't watch the clock as a masseuse that's his job to time it correctly to give the full body massage I booked. My legs are aching from strenuous hikes the last two days and he didn't touch my legs AT ALL. Completely missed the mark on massage and service. The supervisor then only offered a small discount and some bath salts. This experience ruined my last day "relaxing" day that was supposed to be spent at the spa. Annoyed with the service and the handling of the service. I would not recommend. read more

Heavenly indulgence! I agree with the other reviewer that the pool with the waterfall is a bit underwhelming in real life (not as nice as the picture, and when the waterfall is on, it's SO LOUD you can't have a conversation). I liked the oxygen lounge, Jacuzzi, and steam room. The valet was also free, which was certainly nice. Why one star off? As I was discussing my facial with the aesthetician, she said that she was going to focus more on moisturizing vs. deep cleansing, and was I ok with that? Sure, of course. WELL -- imagine my surprise upon checking out that the moisturizing facial ended up being about $50 or $75 more than what I was expecting to pay. In other words, when she said, "Are you OK with more of a moisturizing facial?" she did NOT mention that it was a DIFFERENT SERVICE that cost $75 more! I just assumed (and I think anyone would?) that it was simply a different version of the facial I had signed up for. She said it so breezily, so nonchalantly, that I thought she was simply telling me that she was going to focus on something else vs. what I originally requested. IMHO, if the new treatment you're suggesting to a client is going to be more than what they were expecting to spend, you should inform them in advance of this. Sure, in the grand scheme of things, $75 is no big deal and it's the St. Regis after all, but it's just the principle of it that annoyed me. I felt swindled at check-out, but didn't say anything, since the facilities were so nice, the rest of the staff was so nice, etc. In sum -- you should go! But if they start to "suggest" stuff, be sure to ask outright if it will cost extra (assuming that the extra cost might come as an unwelcome surprise) read more

This spa is amazing! I've been to various St. Regis spas and this one is the best out of the others I have tried. Everyone here gives wonderful customer service, going over and beyond making you feel absolutely special. Jomari is always smiling, super friendly, and very sweet! He's from the Philippines. He took his time to tell me about the property and introduce me to so many lovely people that work here. Jomari has such amazing energy and such a kind soul. Also, Ryan is the attendant to the woman's locker room. Another super sweet, smiling, lovely person who really goes out of her way to make you feel special. To be honest, I met so many nice people I'd love to mention, but I'm drawing a blank at this particular moment. There's two women from Jamaica and for the life of me, there names have slipped my mind. But their customer service is wonderful. I think I'm forgetting names because I had a spectacular massage from Lee Ann Reed. Lee Ann really knows what she's doing. I had taken a bad fall while skiing. Lee Ann really worked her magic. I also got 3 enhancements which included a conditioning scalp treatment, foot reflexology with a paragon wax, and dry brushing. I am so relaxed, I think I'm in heaven! Remede was always my spa of choice. I recently recommended them to a personal friend and client but when they called to ask if his appt could be moved back 15 minutes, they made a mistake with the original appt time and denied that the original appt was at 12:45. NOT 3:45. They said I must be my fault. I physically went in and showed them the confirmation email. Without apology, they asked if I wanted to reschedule. 12:45 was the only time my client had available so I said no and didn't make a big deal even though it was a big bummer and the spa receptionist was aloof. I thought that was the end of it until the $400 charge appeared. I sent an email as well as called. Nothing. No call. No email. No reimbursement. No apology. read more

Just wow. Break Taking every time. This review is only for the manicure and amenities but I look forward to trying the massages, facials, and pedicures too every visit! With each service you have all day access to the steam, tubs, sexy coed waterfall area, oxygen with fireplace and champagne/snacks, and pool! I never wanted to leave. It's a treasure and so relaxing after vigorous activities. My manicure was worth every penny. Sweet lady who was attentive and so helpful from start to finish. The front desk staff was the best! Big smiles and made sure I was comfortable and happy from when I checked in to when I left. I ran into autumn later and she remembered me and made me feel special. Every aspect was just perfect. This spa is part of the St. Regis Aspen, where we got to stay during a recent long weekend getaway. I came here on two consecutive mornings, as a treat to myself and my constantly-aching-shoulders. If you like spas, you surely won't be disappointed with this one! My first treatment was the Chocolate and Champange Body Facial - they first exfoliate and then use a chocolate-based mixture as a mask on your entire body. I liked the exfoliation park - they gently scrub your skin all over before applying the chocolate mask. The chocolate mask part smelled nice while she was applying it, but then everything got really sticky, really fast! Then they wrap you up in a cocoon of blankets and put paraffin wraps on your feet and give you a heavenly scalp and face massage - I loved that part!! After you wash off the chocolate mask, she then applied a chocolate-scented lotion. I would have given this place 5 stars, except for this part - I was supposed to get a 30 minute massage at the end, but it really just ended up being lotion being applied to my legs and arms - not a massage at all! My second treatment here was the 90-min Customized Massage. My masseuse was really great - constantly asking me if she was using enough/too much pressure, and working on tension spots (of which I have many, apparently) on my back. She also did some stretches of my legs so this wasn't just a frou-frou "light" massage. Feet paraffin wraps again, and a short scalp massage, then she applied a scalp/hair conditioner at the end. The services above were expensive, but this is at a super fancy spa at a fancy hotel in fancy Aspen. The facilities were nice too - there were small hot and cold tubs, and a pretty intense sauna room. The waiting lounge was large and stocked with fruit, water, tea, trail mix, and cookies. There also seemed to be champagne upon request (another Aspen "thing" - the abundance of champagne!). They also had an "oxygen lounge" next to the waiting area where you can get hooked up to oxygen machines and relax. read more

Arrived excited to refresh after skiing for several days while fighting a minor head cold. When I told the therapist I was a bit under the weather her eyes widened and she told me it wouldn't be "safe" or "fair to others in the spa" for her to do the treatment as I could still possibly be contagious. Meanwhile, she invited me to use the hot tub, sauna, and oxygen room - all highly public areas where my germs could easily spread. Now that she had me all freaked out about infecting others, I decided to just wait for my sister who was getting a treatment at the same time in the oxygen room, but when I asked for assistance the very stressed out front desk attendant (who was assisting no one) asked me to hold tight and then never showed up. I finally received help after asking two more people. The oxygen relaxation room is pretty amazing - super cozy with faux fur blankets, a fire, and lovely leather beds/recliners. It was fun to literally get hooked up to oxygen which helps with the high altitude. The rest of the spa is well appointed with snacks, tea, a nice single sex hot tub/cold plunge, sauna and then a co-ed waterfall room. I can't comment on the treatment because it never happened, but I'm leaving feeling like Typhoid Mary which feels unjust. I'm not coughing, hoarse, sneezing, wheezing, flushed, or showing any major signs of serious illness. The spa looks lovely, but there is an odd, uptight energy to the employees. Very all-business instead of helping guests get into chill-out mode. Feels like more of a factory than a place of bliss. read more

This facility is beautiful - the pools, steam and ladies facilities were great. My issue was with our services. My girlfriend and I had 90 minute facials. I had issues with my service (there was ZERO pressure on BOTH the neck, arm, chest, shoulder and facial "massage" I asked her to increase the pressure FIVE TIMES and she didn't. So about half of the facial time was spent just having oil gently rubbed on me in a circular motion - where as my girlfriend received a full neck, arm and calf and foot massage with deep pressure that she said was amazing. I had also asked my therapist to tell me what each product was in case I wanted to buy some of them and she did not do that either). I was SO disappointed. But the reason I'm upset is because when I let the front desk (Erin) know that my service wasn't up to par and didn't include massage - she didn't seem to care. She did not apologize. She just said "well, I can take 20% off but other than that there isn't much I can do". I don't even care about the money part - it was just her cold response and lack of apology or any intention to speak with the esthetician to make sure she is properly trained on the facial protocol. Absolutely unacceptable for the $700 that was spent here - and in fact just plain unacceptable at any price point. For this reason we will not return to the St. Regis. Ever. read more

I recently had a major injury to my leg, rendering me unable to ski. My husband and I had already planned a ski weekend in aspen, so we kept our reservation. I love to ski, and have been doing it all my life, it was tough for me to miss out on the best day of the season. The staff at Remède were amazing. The massage made a huge difference in my back pain from the crutches, and I was able to use the pool and fitness center for physical therapy. read more

If I could give the Remède spa customer service negative stars I would. Three of us arrived for a spa day only to find out the spa had gotten the reservation date wrong. We pulled up our confirmation email that had the correct date etc, to which they acknowledged, but said they were fully booked and could not accommodate or fix the problem they caused. We took off a day of work for this and we are extremely disappointed that this was the case. We all make mistakes, but how Virginia at the front desk, handled it was beyond rude. She snapped that the mistake wasn't theirs, but failed to provide any proof for the excuse she was using to counter the confirmation email we received from them. She did not apologize once until I asked her for her name, which is an obvious sign she only then started to care. We had to reschedule our plans, and couldn't even get us the treatments we had originally booked. After we made it clear this was absolutely ridiculous, she offered to let us sit by the hotel pool - which wasn't even possible as it was completely full. Had she been apologetic, understanding, or offered a discount for their mistake, we would have found that much more reasonable. Everyone is always so friendly in this town, but she unfortunately ruined this spa for us. Will keep everyone posted on if they resolve any of these issues. read more

Must admit I was disappointed in this Spa at the St. Regis . Booked 2 Enhanced BATHS and 2 / 90 min. Massages. (Celebrating with my daughter) scheduled in the afternoon, received a message 1st thing in the morning that they were sorry but their baths were down. They offered to reschedule another day or offered an enhanced reflexology treatment. We accepted the reflexology treatment. Arrived at noon, surprised the spa was decorated with an older feel, didn't feel fresh. We were greeted and shown around, friendly staff at the front desk. My massage was good, I enjoyed but I did feel she talked a bit too much about herself personally. (Without me asking anything) she went quiet about halfway through. My daughter said her massage was just okay. :( Afterwards we met back up for our champagne and chocolates, nice chocolates. asked to have the leftovers wrapped up to take with us. They said, of course we'll have them waiting for you at check out. They never offered or reminded us at ck out. Personally feel they should have at these prices. Service felt off all day. Showers not clean, my 2nd one the drain was backed up with hair, yuck. Shower curtain half hanging. One sink in the bathrooms sprayed me in the chest & neck. - SHOCKED that their products in the dressing area were Sauve and Secret! Really...I don't like that the blow dryer don't have attachments, as not to burn ones hair. Of course, I brought everything I needed but at $450 each I feel this is unacceptable. We did like the hot - cold pools. We went to the outside pool for 45 min. Small pool for such a big hotel. Never acknowledged by pool guy, never asked for help with lounges. Spa girl forgot to bring out our beverages. Service just overall off this Sunday the 17th. Overall, just so - so Would I return, probably not, didn't like the ambiance, or the lack of attention to details in service. read more

I really don't understand the negative comments this spa gets! I read them before I went and was kind of nervous about going, but I found none of them to be true with my experience. The staff was helpful in every way possible, everything was explained to a tee. My experience with my therapist was amazing, she hit all the points I talked to her about plus more. All of the falls and pools are on timers so you turn them on for as long as you want. Really a remarkable place, I'm going back again before I leave. read more

My massage therapist was Clara, and it was probably the best massage I've ever had. Never once had to tell her to go easier or harder, she was a true professional and I will absolutely be going back to her again! We were very disappointed with this spa. I had a facial and it was nice. My partner had a 90 minute massage & said it was ok. For the price and the St. Regis name, we expected much better. The jacuzzi was warm not hot. One of our shower's didn't drain. On and on. The entire place is in need of new tile & a facelift. There was no hair gel or hair products period except a nasty cheap arrisol hairspray. Also, cheap Costco toilet paper!! Really, for a $650 for two services? My therapist David was pure magic. My mom said Matt was a body and mind reader! I have had many great massages there, though I did have one bad massage where my masseuse used elbow and back of arm for nearly 50-75% of massage , which I find unacceptable for a 250$ massage. That said, make sure to tell masseuse not to use their arms and elbows too much if that is not something you enjoy. read more

Went with some friends for a relaxing day at the spa, after a long day of skiing. Two of my friends and I went to the reception desk to check in and they had changed all of our appointment times without notifying us. They offered to let us use the amenities as the new service times did not fit our schedule and we were very underwhelmed. The woman's steam room was not working, the pool was not warm and did not have the lights or waterfall like the picture showed. The oxygen room was unattended and we couldn't find sterile nose pieces. We then ordered food which was cold and they messed up the order. Needless to say, I would not recommend this spa; it does not match the level of the hotel. read more

The oxygen room was good as well. The support staff however was just ok. Everyone seemed a little too preoccupied either talking amongst themselves or unapproachable and not warm and fuzzy.
