As many of us big time city folks, this downtown consists of about 3 blocks. What do you expect from a small midwest town. Although it's small in size, the characteristics of this awesome divey bar makes it an awesome place to party. As people are aware of growing up in a small town, everyone and their mama knows everyone else. And this place is no different. I meant that in a positive way since my old friend is well known. And we got some beers for free. Honestly, I don't even know how many beers and shots we took. And all the people I've met were very friendly, even when I'm the only Asian in the "DOWNTOWN" area. She picked room just to look and see how many of them was like that and out of eight of them six of them was raw. When my chicken wings finally came out, they were doing the correct way with the sauce and the taste of them was nasty. I went to pay for the bill and I asked to cook because I didn't see the waitress at the time. Do I get an apology or do I get anything off of my bill being that I have hair in my food? She looked me in my face and told me that as you can see my hair is blonde so that wasn't my hair ...... I said can I at least get a apology she said no. That will be the last time I ever step foot inside of that place the drinks water down and the service was terrible. I recommend do not go to this place I recommended this place is closed down for selling half cooked chicken wings. It is quite a large space with a huge bar, pool tables and Dartboards. I'll bet this is a great place to hang out on Friday and Saturday nights! My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries and I had a chicken ranch wrap. Both were very good, there was a lot of ranch dressing on my wrap, that would be the only thing I would have changed was a little lighter on the dressing. Service was fantastic and super friendly. Prices are more than fair and if we were local this would be a regular hangout spot. There are tons of TVs on the wall for watching any sport you would want to see as well.

Patrons are allowed to pick out a beer and be charged appropriately ... It would be cool if this was a cooler full of the most unique, hard-to-find beers ever but it's mostly full of bud light and Miller Lite. I would bump this up to a 3.5 even for the live music they had that night which played awesome covers but I don't think they are a nightly staple. If you like dive bars, stop on by!
