I love her personality and enjoy her presence :) I never ever thought I would be into doing yoga... Lorilyn changed that for me! I showed up for a private session,not knowing what to expect. I walked into this beautiful room with hardwood floors, so nicely decorated, she also has the ropes so neatly on the wall (you can hang from these ropes!!) I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in. Lorilyn is very educated when it comes to yoga and the bones and muscles in the body; she really knows her stuff. I'm a hairdresser, so my back is always hurting. She knew what bone in my foot connected to my spine. I've never met someone so intelligent when it comes to yoga and someone who enjoys her practice as much as her!! I love knowing I'm not going to a yoga teacher who just tells me what to do. Lorilyn talks to me about my career and my stress levels to know the toll I take on my body and she helps alleviate all my pain. The studio is in the downstairs room of The Idle Hour. There is a wall of windows over looking the lake. I cannot imagine a better setting for a yoga practice. Pairing yoga and wine is a great way to relax but Jenna also uses the wine glass (luckily stemless) In some of the poses. This makes the postures more fun and challenging. Jenna's restorative class is completely customized. You can choose to have your glass of wine after class. She also asks at the beginning of class what you want to work on. Her classes are also great for beginners. Her teaching technique will make you feel comfortable to try it.

We both got 90 minute massages and loved every minute of it! Raquel's rates are much cheaper than any other place in the area. I've had many massages, and it always seems like it's cut off a few minutes early, but this wasn't the case with Raquel. She is very friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend her services! I do have one suggestion though, for Raquel. For previous massages, the masseuse usually leaves a small towel after the massage ends to wipe off some of the oil. I would recommend doing this for your clients because after, I felt very sticky and was very oily since I wasn't able to wipe any of it off. Just an idea. The bottom half has several gym machines, a few back squat racks, and several stretching tools. They also had several benches along with dumbbells and kettlebells. Unfortunately, the upstairs was closed off, so we could not use it all. I believe it's the cardio portion of the gym. The staff was great, and their facility and restroom were clean. It's located off the strip, which allows you to walk on the trail and through the neighborhood, as we did.

A day session is $25 but they have a cheaper rate for certain drop in hrs so ask if you have flexibility. There is also a sauna which is lovely. The only downside is that it is very small. I went for bouldering only and it's one large room and that's it. It was fine for 1-2 sessions but if I'm a regular, I'd really want a bigger gym with more routes. That said, any rock climbing gym in the community is always a big big plus for me!

Disclaimer: this is only based on my one time experience here. The gym is located a bit of outskirts of town but since I stayed a bit out, it was only 5 mins drive. Super cute building sitting in a forest, small parking lot but I didn't have trouble finding parking. Workers are required to give you a tour of the gym and mine was very friendly and thorough. The gym has little touches here and there to make it special. There is a partner board where people leave their information and names, how cute is that? Also, I enjoyed browsing through the climbing artworks they displayed in the hallway. Lastly, I loved how they up-cycled ropes for bathroom curtains. The route settings are fun! Since the wall space is precious, the settings can be compact. Lots of different colors of holds to identify and read. I'd say the grading is somewhat on the same level of Movement gyms in the bay, so slightly harder than the touchstones. The vibe is chill and friendly, not super packed, kids aren't running around, I personally got tired of the music towards the end though, but that was it. I didn't get to try their yoga/Lyra/Dance classes, but it's so cool they offer those especially Lyra or Aerial classes which you may have to pay $40-$50 for in the Bay Area. Will definitely be back!
