That this store exists, let alone thrive in the a market such as Danville is amazing. (Danville, is probably one of the least vegetarian, no vegetable unfriendly cities I've ever been to, anywhere in the world. ) There is not a huge selection of produce, but enough to make a difference and if I lived in Danville I could survive by shopping at this store. (God knows I couldn't survive with the restaurant selection. There are some notable products they carry such as Cascade Fresh yogurt, Field Roast grain meats, and veggie chips. I love it. There is also quite a selection of bulk items, which is impressive. Additionally there is a large selection of organic food as well. There are a few too many vitamins for me; I would like to see more real food in some of that space, but this didn't detract from my rating. Overall good, services and concept: 5 Stars!

After, introductions, I shot a few images of the outside of her shop, and then went inside. I'm not sure, if my words can paint the picture, this little shop deserves, but I'll do my best. As a photographer, I get a chance to travel to small communities, throughout this great land. I am always, amazed at Middle America, and this time was no different. Stephanie Lober, is the proprietor, and has an amazing personality. So much so, that it would be hard, not to stop in her shop, every time I was in this part of the country. This little shop, not only sells fresh produce, but all types of specialty foods, gifts, and artwork. I purchased a generous supply of Indiana, sweet corn, and am looking forward to sharing it with my Illinois family. The Midwest is full of gift shops, but what makes this little shoppe, special, is Stephanie. After you've talked with her, for 60 seconds, you feel you've known her, all your life. I don't know how long, she's been in business, but with her smile, and great personality, she'll charm you and warm your heart. I hope I'm just half as personable, as Stephanie. Thank you, for making my day, Stephanie. Stopping in Covington, was worth the trip, from Phoenix, all by itself.

Also trying not to sound too mean. For the most part, the employees are more than willing to help you. I've personally seen a young boy be more than willing to help load mulch. A few cashiers help older folk use their cards. The owner stop whatever he was doing to help people out of the car. Along with them being very accommodating to people who've had disabilities. Though I also can't ignore the fact there are also a few employees that are incredibly rude (especially in the morning), the place needs a deep cleaning, and the fact managers typically don't seem happy or nice when they've got to come up to scan my alcohol or to open another lane when it's busy.
