From the moment I walked in, I was kindly greeted and Lindsey was prompt and friendly too! During the hair cut, she was attentive/ such a great conversationalist and has a great eye for detail. She framed my face perfectly and took her time to make sure that I received the perfect hair cut. In the end, the hair cut was better than any haircut I've had in the past. Early) to have a full set of nails put on. when I arrived I informed Bev that I had another appointment at 1:30 to see if that was enough time for her to do my nails, she said as long as I do the talking she wouldn't get distracted. As she started, she pulled out some extremely white acrylic's and I explained to her that I would like to have gel put on,she said she didn't do gel and these would be fine for a French style, I never asked for French nails and asked her if she had clear because that bright white would show underneath and look awful, I could tell that she was annoyed and she said do you want to go to plan "B" which she said would be "You can go to another salon!!"I said no, and she then pulled out some clearer nails! She kept telling me to settle down ( I was nervous) and let her do her thing. When she got to point of filing them down she asked what shape? I told her what I like and it fell on deaf ears. I called my next appointment to see if I could get there about 30 minutes late,because Bev would not be finished. So then she started polishing my thumb and I looked at the nails and they were jagged and rough and snagged on everything they were not at all ready to be polished, I asked Bev very nicely if I could just use a file and I could shape them really quickly. She became angry and threw up her arms and said she wouldn't be able to please me. I was shocked by her behavior. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't the client get to have her nails looking the way we want , and not how Bev wants them to be??? I asked what I owed and she said nothing!!! As I was leaving she was mumbling something. Now late for my next appointment and nails completely disgraceful, I stopped by a couple nail salons to see if they could help me try and salvage my nails after two rejects I happened by Lina's which I had never been before and she was closing but stayed to help me. When she looked at them she said who did this to you there really bad! 3 nails were put on crooked, others were not sized right and not filled all the way Lina just kept shaking her head at each nail, but by the grace of god she did her best in repairing them. She is an angel!!! I had to to meet my date an hour later than planned, all because of my experience at Angel Face& Nails and I might add that that 20 years earlier she put nails on my mother and I for a trip and they fell off the next day!! I had really hoped she had improved in that length of time, but sadly she has not!!! I have paid for tanning there but after the first time I never wanted to use them again. Nasty. So I lost money there!!! I am not one to write reviews, but in this case I had to express how I was treated by the owner of the salon. I'm sure there will be mixed opinions about this which is to be expected! I honestly hope that this will shed some light on how NOT to behave with a client. I wish Bev the very best in the future.

I had only had one spray tan in the past, and the girl did an awesome job, but I didn't put enough effort into the before and after care to make sure it lasted as long as possible. This time, when I booked with Amy, I made sure to listen closely and take notes on what I needed to do before and after my spray tan. Amy and I had a quick phone call when I reached out about the appointment. I scheduled at least a month in advance, so I can't really speak to how easily you could get in last minute. I had no problems scheduling. Our phone call was super helpful. We went through all of the instructions and she gave me a lot of before care advice that I followed until my appointment. When it was finally appointment day, I went in for my spray tan! Amy was super welcoming and kind. She told me my skin looked good for the spray tan, which was music to my ears, because I had been doing all of her before care suggestions! We talked a bit about which spray tan option I would go for and what shade I wanted to achieve. We ended up deciding on a rapid tan option with a medium shade. I think I left it on for about 4-5 hours... Throughout my appointment, Amy was very respectful and friendly. She gave me product recommendations for body wash and sunscreen, which was super helpful! When the appointment ended, we realized it was raining outside. I didn't have an umbrella, so Amy offered to walk me out to my car with one of her umbrellas! It was one of the nicest things ever. She escorted me to my car and we said our goodbyes. She made it clear that I could reach out to her with any questions or concerns, which was super nice! After 4-5 hours, I took a shower and rinsed off (no soap). When I woke up the next day, I had an absolutely beautiful bronze glow! I truly was amazed by how gorgeous the color was. It got me extra excited for my trip. :) The spray tan lasted throughout the entirety of my trip, although it did fade a bit (which was inevitable because I was in the ocean quite a bit). When we packed up to come home, I still had a little bit of color on my body. I was surprised that it lasted that long! I know that it was due to the advice that Amy gave me for after care. As a tip: she only accepts cash so make sure you have that on hand. Don't worry though, she'll go through all of this with you before your appointment! Overall, I had a 10/10 experience with Amy and Simply Bronzed! I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Amy!!!! :)

I got the rapid tan (highly recommend) because it's super convenient to be able to wash off sooner. The staying power of this tan is amaaaaazing. I went to Maui for a week-- snorkeled, swam in the pool and hot tub, got a friggin massage, and it didn't budge! It also isn't fading weird at all. Thank you! I'll definitely be back.
