Keara had gone to physio, pain specialists, got nerve blocks, etc. Her MRI clearly indicated a herniated disc with possible nerve compression. I picked the Doral location because it's close to work. Having recently started at a new position and being in my probationary period, I had to deal with a super basic insurance before my employer's policy kicks in. Karla, the office manager, was really helpful in calling and dealing with the company thus saving me that "headache". After previous home & alternative remedies weren't working, I called this office. It's located in a Doral office building and next to another orthopedic practice. From what I understand, the other office is OrthoNow's "home base" where I would go if my condition doesn't ger better. It's also where OrthoNow does their imaging. When I visited, Melissa who does double duty as an xray tech & medical assistant, took my vitals and took me downstairs for xrays. After the x-rays, I was checked out by William the nurse practitioner, who reviewed and said that basically I have tennis elbow, so I have to take it easy for at least a little bit on the weights.

I am very disappointed with the follow up to my visit. I suffer from various autoimmune conditions…read moreand I went in with severe back, neck and feet pain. The doctor gave me a physical and didn't feel an MRI was necessary so he sent me for X-rays and autoimmune testing. The initial visit was great but the follow through has not been. I told the doctor that I react badly to medications and preferred not to take any but since he felt my pains could be inflammatory caused by autoimmune conditions he sent me a prescription for an anti inflammatory. I called the hospital a week later to set up a follow up appointment and was told it wasn't necessary because all of my results came back normal. I requested several times to be given access to the patient portal in order to see my results and I have been told repeatedly that they already emailed me the invitation. The last email I have from them was in 2016. I called back (each time waiting at least 10 minutes to speak to someone) and I am told they don't know who can help me with that. In the meantime, two weeks after my visit I had to go to urgent care for a severe sore throat. Turns out I have thrush. I have never had this before and the only new thing I was doing was taking the medicine the doctor prescribed. I called back to speak to the doctor and find out if it could be a side effect from the medication and the nurse told me she would speak to him and get back to me. Still no call. I decided to research the side effects of the medication and what I am experiencing is definitely on the list along with a few other gastrointestinal ones I didn't realize were also being caused by the medication. Now I'm on antibiotics against my better judgement due to my condition but I am stuck with no answers and no support. I am extremely frustrated!!

I now have permanent leg damage where I cannot feel my leg 90% then shortly after I had the back surgery the disc he repaired herniated out the other side, which I know can't happen Dr. Gleber then wanted to do a surgery where he would take out my rib to repair the disc and it would've been a lengthy surgery. I went to a surgeon at the Mayo. He did the surgery in an hour and a half didn't have to do anything with a rib and I've never had a problem with that thoracic disc again I'm so sorry that I went to Dr. Klever and I did pay him out-of-pocket $130,000 which he begged for the money like he was gonna miss his next Meal so now my life is pretty much ruined but I didn't have to be
