The cheese was ordinary, I could almost guess the brand they used, while the strawberry syrup tasted the same as those used in fast food restaurants. For P150, the price-ratio serving isn't that good - I'd understand if they used cheesecake for the toppings or maybe fresh strawberries. Ah well. Guess what was delivered to our place? An EMPTY birthday cake. It ruined our family celebration. (picture attached) We were truly unsatisfied with your service, uncooperative, and neglected communication. We asked for refund, however, you mentioned that you can refund the amount paid for flower decorations. We even asked to even add at least delivery charge to the refund.... But still, only P800 for your mistake??? We feel that it is very unfair that we spent a lot on it, ordered it 5 days in advance, called everyday for update if you got the design, did our best to make communication work out on our end, and in the end a disaster. How could you let this happen? How could you give an empty birthday cake when we paid extra for each flower and mentioned the dedication? We are very disappointed that our order wasn't taken seriously. We hope other customers won't experience the same situation.

This caramel cake is not too sweet and has a light and fluffy chiffon base so you'll want to have another slice :3 Their cakes and other baked goods need to be pre-ordered at least a day before and picked up at their lovely home along Polaris St. Bel-Air, Makati. It's not convenient, but it's super worth the travel! I love how the staff can be accommodating sometimes especially when we just ordered on the day of pick up (oops), and words on the cake can be personalized (without character limit!). My family's usual order is the 9x12-inch caramel cake that's worth P1000 (with free personal message on cake and 1 candle). Not a bad deal when we know how much dedication and quality this homemade goodness is done (and taste) over the years. Highly recommend this to those who want a light cake for family and friends. The Ube Symphony was creamy with actual chunks of ube. The brownie tasted like a more solid brownie batter, if you're into that. I kid you not when I say lifechanging. My boss at the time decided to buy a small box of 12 for everyone at the office, and I saved mine to share with my family. When one of my officemates decided to open her box to share, I took the chance without hesitation, since the packaging was very nice and I had no idea what a Custaroon would taste like. What hit my mouth then was a magical blend of flavors and textures that you just have to try, in order to understand my lack of description. It's definitely the place for me to go to for my Bingsu Fix. The place is quite spacious and I love staying by the window side of the cafe. It overlooks BGC; nice and bright in the afternoon. If it's your first time to try Bingsu, go for the fruity options: Strawberry or Mango Cheese. For me, I always get a regular size of the Injeolmi Bingsu and Mango. For the Injeolmi, you'll be surprised with the amount of rice cake cubes in it! Each spoonful you'll scoop up a good portion of finely shaved milk ice + rice cake + soy bean powder. I always love the bite and the chewiness. On my last visit, they now have a new flavor: Match Bingsu! Definitely a must try! If you want something different, try the sweet potato bread with injeolmi. It's not too sweet but quite filling. Very tasty and worth a try. Right now, you can get condensed milk for free at the side! Don't put too much though. The Bingsus are sweet enough! :P

It's a great location though for a dessert place to move to after having lunch - considering the 1st and 2nd floors of Bonifacio Stopover are full of places to eat! The shaved ice itself is really smooth and soft, and comes with its own flavor to match whatever toppings are on the shaved ice. And what makes it even better - they don't skimp on the toppings. If you order the strawberry bingsu, you'll find a lot of strawberries on top and inside the ice as well. They also offer toast and other snacks, but people come mostly for the shaved ice. I'm not surprised but when there are a lot of people, it could take some time for your order to come. And this place also gets full during weekends. I also wish they had wifi. Or maybe it's better that they didn't so people would leave quicker and give others a chance at shaved ice goodness. I love this place and will come back! With this heat, I hope they make a serving that I can dip my whole body into so I can roll around in snowy soft shaved ice.

So we just got random pastries from the display and some gelato. What's a good thing about their gelato is that you can choose 1-3 flavors even for a small cup. Which is normally a large cup for 3 flavors. Apple Streusel was too soft. The apple filling was good, but I was expecting a flakier, buttery pastry from the soft ones they have. Cannoli was too hard. It is a rolled puff pastry with a stick of chocolate in the middle. The pastry was tough or too crisp that fails the texture of a cannoli, sweet, soft, flaky, buttery. Meringue. 2 meringue disc that sandwiches chocolate. The meringue was light, sweet, and has a powdery finish. It doesn't have the rough, sugary feel like what the usual bakery fair. Crostatine Raspberry is a flaky raspberry filled tart that has a buttery, flaky weaved crust on top. The tart was a bit hard, but it was perfectly sweet, fruity raspberry with a flaky crust on top. Begne was their version of cream puff. It was soft and filled with creamy custard and was coated with chocolate. It was nice, soft, cream puff, but was expecting a fresher one. Gelatos was smooth & milky. Just right for a gelato. I loved their pistacchio and blackberry flavor. The tiramisu was too liquorish for me. Chiara can improved on most of their pastries and do promotions before closing to prevent pastries from being taken over the next day. It's the kind of light cake that I can order on a whim and gobble up in one night without feeling bad about it. Flashback time! When I was in high school, Red Ribbon used to have a flavor of cake that I really loved called Chocolate Heaven. Only they ended up removing it from the menu because its ingredients were, and I quote, "too expensive." A similar chocolate cake took its place, going by the name of Ultimate Chocolate Cake (P330/P544.50). But isn't the same. I would say that it is almost too chocolate-y by comparison. Nakaka-umay. (Too rich.) Whereas the Chocolate Heaven had toothsome layers of chocolate ganache and curls on top, chocolate mousse in the middle, and a chunk of brownies at the bottom. I miss it so much. If I had only known they would dispose of it, I would have eaten at Red Ribbon every week. That aside, Red Ribbon has been providing us good cakes and pastries for decades, and has been a long-time favorite for casual celebrations and get-togethers. Besides their cakes, I also recommend trying their Butter Mamon (P22) and Classic Polvoron (P11) for tasty and affordable finds.
