I tried asking a few questions about the membership and how things work but again she seemed very focused on typing in my info.. her energy wasn't warm . When I went into the bed to tan I realized I didn't have my goggles with me as I've been tanning for 20 years and I know for a fact, not wearing goggles can really harm your cornea, as well as your eyelid and causes severe harm. When I asked her about goggles, she didn't even offer any to sell. She just said to close my eyes and I would be fine. I was stunned. I feel a bit more training on how to be more welcoming, especially to first time customers would go a long way. The next time I went in , a young lady by the name of Sara was working in the salon . Much kinder and welcoming . I asked her about goggles and she sold a pair to me.. This review is to have the owner aware of how the business is being taken care of , as I am a business owner myself.

I've been a member since they opened and in Dec 2025, I purchased a bogo membership for buy 1 year get 1 year free. They have this promo a few times a year and always at the end of the year. I had 13 months left on my original membership which brought the expiration to Jan 2027... and with the new 2 years I purchased, it would bring my expiration to Jan 2029. Once Zoom Tan took over, I checked on my expiration date with them and they said I expire on Jan 2027, which indicated to me that the 2 years I purchased was not added. The manager (who is the same manager from South beach) said they don't have any records from South beach anymore as the whole system was changed. She suggested I call Zoom customer service (the location has no power to resolve any disputes). I called the # I was given for corporate and was told to send an email.. I composed the email in mid April 2026 with my receipts and all the information required. I get an email response a few days later stating that I did not purchase a bogo, and a bunch of other incorrect information in their response to me. I became fuming... I responded to their email telling them they were incorrect... I even found the ad from December on-line stating the promotion and send that in my subsequent email responding to them on 4/17. The email I sent was rather curt, as they stated they looked into my situation "thoroughly" which obviously they didn't. I never heard back from them even though the 1st email took them only 3 days to respond. On May 12th, I called the corporate phone # and said that I was waiting for a response to my email of 4/17. She puts me on hold for a good 5 minutes and comes back to the line and says they do have my email and will respond within a week and a half (I found that bizarre). I said the first email I sent they responded in 3 days.. now this email has been over 3 weeks with no response and you say they'll respond in a week and a half? Anyway, moral of the story is they are cheating me out of 13 months which equates to a little over $500. Other member I've spoken to are very dissatisfied with zoom tan. For one, they reduced the daily hours greatly, opening later then south beach and closing much earlier daily. They claim they will be open 24 hrs, but it's been 2 1/2 months since Zoom purchased and there is no telling when this will happen. The workers at the salon know nothing. So why reduce the hours before you are ready to go 24 hrs? There is also rumors that they will be converting the beds to all stand up booths... but of course no one knows anything. Some of the spray selections you could get at south beach are no longer available, even though the machines are the same. They just choose to cut down on the available selections. If you go on-line and research the CEO, employees don't have many favorable things to say about him. I also checked with Better Business Bureau just out of curiously (to which Zoom tan is not a member, but bbb still tracks complaints and lists them).. there are over 50 complaints... a lot are similar to mine.. billing issues... they have also cut the current staff to allow only one worker at a time. That poor person is running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I am in the process of resolving this issue by other means, since Zoom is apparently unresponsive. As I stated, I have been a member since they opened, what, 15 or so years ago? I am relentless in this situation and will go on social media and inform all about this. Wilton Manors is a small community. So anyone who has extended memberships, you better check your expiration as you've probably been cheated.. Good Luck with this horrible company. May I recommend Elecrric Sun on Sunrise Blvd? May be a little more expensive but you're not dealing with a dishonest company. Photos of emails/ promos/ payments provided here

    I would recommend electric beach immediately and they're way more helpful, this place Terrible…read morecustomer service I haven't used my membership in four + months I've been traveling I have asked numerous times over the phone for the manager to call back I've gone in on the hours they told me she'd be there or called and she's not available or just left, I'm not chasing around someone every day to try to resolve a membership issue I already know I can't cancel over the phone, but I'm trying to receive a credit for the months that I have paid and not tanned or my money back and to cancel, but I can't get a call back once in two months of calling from the manager it's insane the girls there are nice and have left notes in my account and left notes for her and she still has yet to be of any help, wouldn't recommend

I recently decided to try sugaring after spending years suffering burning, itching, ingrown hairs every time my hair grew back in from shaving. I'd never waxed before, but I read sugaring was gentler and upon a little research Sophia's studio popped up in Yelp. I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy I did...that said, I'm also convinced I got lucky by finding Sophia because she is amazing! I was extremely nervous about sugaring, especially in vulnerable places where the sun doesn't shine! But she was so skilled, offering advice when I asked for tips on home care and exfoliation and educating me on the finer details of the process, as well about my hair pattern/type. Despite having had a child, I was still nervous and intimidated about getting sugared in the bikini area, but Sophia was somehow professional, yet comforting with genuine conversation. I doubt everyone gets this lucky when they go to their aesthetician! After having such great results with the sugaring (which for my first time was intense, but oh so worth it!), I tried dermaplaining with Sophia. The whole facial was ahhhmazing, and now my skin looks so bright, youthful, and glowy!! After the light therapy and face masks (the algae face mask was so soothing) I left looking like a dewy queen. I'm in love and I'm so grateful for Sophia and her bright, beautiful spirit. There's no question she loves what she does, and it's something you want when you hire someone to help you take care of yourself! So if your looking for *the one*, she is it!!!
