This is especially true for the lay down tanning beds. There is also a booth for a spray tan. It is done by machine not a person which is great for those who are shy about how much they want to strip down to infront of somebody that they do not know. It is located in your own personal room also which is great for added privacy. It is not a necessary to book for this. Staff here are lovely, great for those new to the experience so you know what you are doing!

I really recommend this salon as the price is right and the treatments and service are excellent, even if you just wanted to lay on the sunbed the salon offers it is still a fabulous place to go.

Jo, who owns the salon, is the main attraction for me as she's so bubbly and friendly that it's nice to just stay and chat! She is very skilled and really puts you at ease. She's got a brand new, state-of-the-art sunbed there which is quite unique and tans you quickly and safely and you only need a few minutes. The spray tan is excellent too and perfect for a quick fix before a night out. You can buy products there and I regularly buy one of the gorgeous OPI nail polishes she has on display. Jo also does make up and treatments for special occasions and weddings and she is very flexible with times so can a find times that suits you if you are really busy. A perfect service and I am one of her many regular customers!

The lady read my number back and it was correct so I don't believe they did try to contact me. What's worse is I rang up that morning to reconfirm the appointment and was given the ok. Apparently so many of them are in and out they don't know what's going on half the time, that's what I got told. Great service, not !

I had a wonderful spa day at Bannatyne's this week. I had a massage late in the afternoon, but a…read morespa day gives you access to all the facilities for the whole day. So, in the morning I went to the gym, which has a great range of equipment. It was nice and clean and bright, and I enjoyed my work out. The rest of the day I spent in the spa area, the pool was a good size, not really big enough for an exercise type swim, but fine for a relaxing one. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna where all great, and the loungers round the pool were comfy. Before my massage I spent some time on the heated 'sunbeds' in the treatment area, they're very nice! They'll get your muscles nice and relaxed before your massage! I had the bamboo massage which was great. The therapist didn't check with me before hand so I almost ended up having a Swedish. The massage was great, nice and firm, and really relaxing. Therapist was always checking I was ok with the pressure which was good. Had an awesome day, will definitely be back.
