Awesome drinks. Ordered green tea with mango and passion fruit with boba. Soooo goood. Tommy, the owner, really nice. He made some fresh Thai tea and gave me some. Soooo gooood. You can adjust the sweetness of the tea and flavors. I prefer more flavor of the tea to be stronger than the add ins. The other places are tooo sugary. The boba was on point. It was soft and chewy. Not hard and gummy. They just opened about a week and half. Smelt of fresh paint. Still has some work of completion to do but I love their concept of how to order ur drinks depending on the level of sweetness u prefer. I am definitely returning for the awesome drink! read more

I came here after eating at the ramen place. I wanted milk tea. I'm used to Kung fu tea milk teas. I got the rose black milk tea with bubbles and 75% sugar. It was pretty good. It was much sweeter than I thought it was going to be. I might get it with 50% sugar next time. If you check in- you can upgrade the large to x-large. It is unfortunate that they only have the two sizes. The large is pretty big. They have a lot of flavors and combos so it can get confusing if you look at the huge menu. They have a small paper printout on the counter with popular drinks. The store is pretty bare. It has potential if they had more decorations and colors. They have games you can play with!!! We haven't been here in awhile. We used to like it because of the affordability and the 2 topping option. However, I feel like the service has gone down and the prices have gone up. It was a over a 20 min wait for 2 drinks. They need more than one worker. Toppings given were also very skimpy. And there's no yelp checkin for an XL upgrade anymore. Tea Spot is one of those rare boba places where I can actually taste tea over the flavors. Other chains like chewy and quickly taste mostly like syrup (which is fine) but sometimes you really want something with caffeine. I gotta say, they had lured me in with their sample teas that had be displayed one day. I was eating next door and tried their two teas, one of which I can not remember the flavor combo, but the other was a strawberry lychee green tea. Both were so good! I usually am a fan of milk teas, but their tea has a strong tea taste that I crave for, and you can adjust your sweetness level. Coming inside, they have a recommendation list on a chalkboard to the left and under the counter is a display of their teas/flavors (which the list literally goes on!) and toppings (ditto on that part too!) there's so many different flavor combinations, you can really adjust to your favorite flavors. Since the get go, I've been a fan of their recommendation, and the first tea I've tried from them, strawberry lychee green tea with 50% sweetness. This place is amazing! Tucked away in the Chinatown area right at the edge of pine hills, this place has a huge selection of drinks. It was a little empty when we got there, but the drinks were delicious. I had the rose black milk water which was amazing. Not too sweet and floral and milky. They have Thai tea which was my original reason for going, but I ended up trying a sample of the Rose and loved it. They are also reasonably priced. The owner Tommy was working and made 2 drinks: jasmine milk tea with boba as well as a taro coconut smoothie with boba and jelly (Tommy's recommendation). I enjoyed a delicious strawberry, mango, rose iced green tea with 25% sweetness. I'm a fairly entry level tea drinker, but the cashier and owner were great at telling me if a mixture made sense and options I could add to the tea. They also gave me a sample of the popping bobas before committing to adding them to my drink. These are little balls of heaven! So, definitely try these out. A great little gem in the China Town area if you are looking for some flavored tea and quick snacks. My family and I stumbled upon this cute little shop after walking past two jugs of tea samples (sadly there was none left). As you enter the shop, it is very tastefully decorated in a minimalistic sort of way and three big signs showing you how to order greet you! They have a list of "Yummy Recommended Drinks" and I definitely agree that the Lychee Rose Green Tea at 100% (default) sweetness is a solid winner...I also add in aloe for some texture. Their popcorn chicken is delicious and always piping hot. The people who work there are extremely nice and will provide you with great recommendations (and are extremely patient for those who indecisive like me). Great new place in the "Asian Walmart" plaza . The decor is very open, and they welcome you in with tea samples outside the door. They've got two sizes - large and extra large, each $4.25 and $5 respectively. We got the lychee rose green tea with grass jelly, honey black milk tea with boba, and two coconut taro milk teas with boba. The boba is perfectly chewy, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Although I used to swing by SunPearl next door to get boba, but the drinks here are much much better, perfect boba, well mixed, and if you buy 4 drinks, you get a free popcorn chicken. (And they're a card only place, so no need to scramble for cash). At $4.25 for a large, it's a good competitor to Quickly on this side of town. The boba was on the softer side which is how I prefer it and there's a nice balance between the taste of honeydew and tea.
