Also some of the conference rooms were impossible to find!! Some rooms appear to be accessible from one direction only and I found it quite difficult to find my way around the BIC, even with a map! Also the temperature in the main exhibition halls were far too hot! The pros - the catering here was amazing! I was skeptical because this was the first time I'd been to a conference as a vegan but the team here served up some really amazing meals. Veg curry and rice, roasted veggies and polenta, for example, as well as vegan cakes and tray bakes! Also all the staff I spoke with we super helpful and polite. His kit was all up to date, PAT tested (important when you hire a venue) with excellent sound quality and lots of lights. He turned up bang on time and was ready to rock and roll as agreed. Both times were very enjoyable and fun for the relatives, friends & kids who attended. Street parking & it is a busy street with resident's parking The two times were actually catered by the Parents, they had also organised entertainment. I believe that you can actually request & pay them to do the catering for you if you wish. I have also attended 2 Christening in the Church itself, which has friendly feel, the vicar is very pleasant/friendly before the actually Centre was opened.

Offering a variety of theatre and arts to the culturally deprived new forest area (there are lots of open spaces but not many theatres!). Forest Arts has really taken off in the local community, offering professional productions for reasonable ticket prices. They also offer a series of workshops to get people interested in theatre and the arts, these are led by experts and the cost is nominal to cover i assume insurance and the experts fee. It is well worth a visit, i was reluctant at first, looking at the building from the outside I was unimpressed, however the money has been better spent on the interior and productions.

When you get there their car park is generally full but there is parking nearby on the road. It is about a mile from the railway station. When you enter through the door there is a display of paintings before you go through the door to the bar. A few tables and chairs here. It used to be a rush to get a good seat when the theatre doors open but you can book your actual seat now which is good. Have noticed that there are several spectators in wheelchairs.
