As you walk in you are greeted to freshly made bakery, rolls and bread. They have a hot stand which keeps bacon rolls and many pasties warm. They also have a large range of sandwiches and salads. Usual groceries fresh vegetable, meat, tinned goods, frozen items are found here as well. It can get very busy and at times the queues can be known to go far along the aisles, but they move relatively fast. A very handy shop to have as the supermarkets are located out of the town centre.

The tables are old trestle sewing machines and there is a great selection of art work on the walls ( all for sale ). Long glass counter displaying goods for sale which include the usual meat cuts plus other yummy goods like ready made fresh stir frys, stuffed mushrooms, chinese ribs etc. They also make their own black puddings which are highly recommended as are the pork and apples burgers. There's a small range of condiments, packet sauces, frozen goods and veg. Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient, goods are very high quality and prices are very reasonable. Lunchtimes can be very busy and occasionally tables aren't available. The food is always great with a large selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, teas etc. They also have a small gift shop with crafts from locals. After you eat it's great to go for a walk along the grounds and up to the Castle. The views of Stornoway from up there are beautiful.
