The three horse shoes hotel and restaurant is based opposite the sports bar and it's a gift and I must say although from outside it does not look like anything special, its actually a loverly pub, restaurant and hotel.
Its quite old fashioned décor inside but it just feels warm and cosy and really hospitable.
I have attended over a dozen times for Sunday dinners and also a couple of times in the week, and they do some great meals, very high quality of food and really really yummy. The average price I would say is approx 15-20 pound for a three course meal and is defiantly worth it.
I would recommend the Sunday lunch as its great really homecooking type feel to it.
In the week though I would recommend the rack of lamb which literally melts in your mouth and the toffee and pecan pie which is naughty but so so so good!!!
I have attended some weddings there also which were great, the food was brilliant and wine etc etcthe only thing was is the restaurant is not air conditioned and it was inbearable inside, it was so incredibly hot, the staff were great and put about ten fans all around the room but this is not ideal to be honest.
But apart from that its really good. read more
