I received a ticket for going 35 on a major road in a school zone when the light WASN'T flashing to indicate the speed limit was 15. The officer quoted some obscure law that limits your speed when school is in session not just when the lights are flashing. Not only that, but I had turned onto that road from a side street and there was no sign that I was entering a school zone. This is Lyons and Johnson in Coconut Creek by the way, east on Johnson, left (north) on Lyons. I needed them to help with a ticket. I was in a school bus where I have to load children and then do a 3 point turn-around.
