Was looking for tile Friday night for a flooring project in my home . Arrived to a pretty empty store with a man and woman working in the store . Once inside no one greeted me hello , came to ask if I needed any help or anything . It was like the " bird box challenge store edition" . My mother came in a few minutes later and experienced the same lack of customer service. The odd thing is , the counter where the employees work is right in the middle when you walk in, so they were quite aware new customers were in the store . It was pretty empty inside as well . Walked around for a bit , saw a few items I was interested in , but decided I'd leave . Surprisingly ( not really ) they completely ignored us as we left as well . I'd suggest skipping this place if you care about quality customer service . Spend your coins elsewhere ! read more

This store deserves ZERO stars. Beware that their showroom samples will not look like the tiles you will actually receive. This happened to us not once, but twice. We picked a black hex tile and ordered a sample. It wasn't until we went in a few days later to look at something else (while waiting for the sample to arrive) that the manager informed us that the actual tile we will receive won't be the same as their floor sample "because the manufacturer changed that over a year ago and we just haven't updated the floor sample yet" but no one told us this prior to ordering the sample. When we went to return the sample later, we were met with a lot of pushback and they even told us "that's not our tile" when in fact, it was. The manager finally approved the return (it was only $20 by the way that they were fighting us over). We also ordered a large format porcelain tile that on their own website describes it as "a bright white tile with gray veining" and what we received was white with brown/tan veining- it even said BRONZE on the boxes. After speaking with the manager, he agreed to refund the original shipping cost and also pick them up at no cost. Several days went by and when we called for an update on eta for pickup, he then said he changed his mind and was not going to refund us and would charge us for pick up. Not the way a business should work. You should never go back on your word. We will NEVER order another tile from The Tile Shop and we will make sure all the people we know who are building or renovating a home know that The Tile Shop is NOT the place you want to spend your money due to their HORRENDOUS customer service and floor samples that do not match the actual tiles you receive. read more

Horrible customer service. Beware too that samples on the floor and website pictures and descriptions can be TOTALLY different than was is delivered to you. It happened to us twice. We ordered a floor tile that was a completely different color and sheen that was we picked on the showroom floor and were told after we ordered it and came in that "yeah the manufacturer change it a while back." They still haven't updated the showroom sample despite being changed a for over a year according to the manager. We got a refund on the sample after a lot of pushback . Then our large format tile came and was a COMPLETELY different color and style. At first the manager agreed to have it picked up no problem and refund the shipping charge.. he was doing the right thing. Then they found out that the SKU number was correct and went back on their word, charging us to pick it up AND not refunding the original shipping charge because "they didn't make a mistake." The tile name on the website and all pictures are a totally different color and design, regardless of what the SKU says. It is misrepresented and they had opportunity to do the right thing and went BACK on their word to give us a horrible experience. All to save them a few dollars. That isn't good business and I take a man at his word and trust that he will follow through with that. Sadly, the manager here didn't do that. I do not recommend this place and will make sure to tell others I know looking for tile to go elsewhere. All of this could have been avoided if they just did the right thing. read more

We asked a salesperson who was helping another couple a brief question and she directed us down an isle, but never offered to come back and help us or find someone else to help us. Nichole was super helpful and gave us wonderful customer service! The Annie Selkie collection of tiles is awesome and our bathroom turned out fantastic! read more

Great experience at the Tile Shop. I went there to look for flooring tile for a small hall bath. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to take home full size samples which was a big help in determining how things will look in your space. You do have to pay for samples, but they are returnable. I also like that they aren't far from my house. Will definitely be returning in the future as I move to other projects in my house. read more

Overpriced and horrible customer service. Literally walked up to the desk to get a quote on certain tiles and what I presume to be the manager or owner, my mother asked him (short dark spikey haired guy) if we could have someone help us and he literally just walked away and looked at one of the other women associates and kind of pointed to us... they can keep it!! We will be going else where and passing the word! read more
