When I didn't live in KC I would always make sure that this was one of the places I made my way to when I was in town. Now that I live here I am excited that I have been able to come whenever I need!! They women that own this space are SO knowledgeable and helpful. They know their herbs!! For sure. I ordered a seasonal iced peach latte - that had just a hint of peach sweetness to it and an otherwise caramel-y flavor - and got a spot right by the counter. The morning was temperate, so one of the garage doors at the front was open. As we reached noon, they closed the garage door to let the A/C do its thing. The main door otherwise opens into the sink room of the bathroom area, which is admittedly quirky-cute. My barista, Quinn, was super knowledgable and told us about the specials coming up this week to entice us back. She took some time to chat with me about why she loves working there, and both she and the other barista seemed to fit perfectly into the space. Thriving plants, lots of space to mingle or work - though, be prepared for someone to sit right next to you anyway - I wish I lived a little closer because this would absolutely be my new regular. As it is, I will be back often. Fun perk: convenient, big parking lot just north of the shop.

What a great find, because salt is an essential and can be the star of a meal when used properly. Service was first-rate. You can find literally everything here at Gemini. I left with a new pendelum an evil eye bracelet some special bath salts and detoxes. As well as some new goodies for my sound bowl. They also sell sound bowls here too. My friend and I also tried the salt room spa here and it was pretty relaxing we fell asleep. I just can't get over how much we loved our experience here from the educational aspect from their teachings to just letting us freely look around and shop and be curious beings. I felt so calm shopping here we could've spent hours just looking around. This was a highlight of our trip must say. Such a great experience and great people!

The Yelp page here is a tad misleading as the cafe is no longer operated by Made in KC and is now a separate space entirely. The gift shop is great though, and worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!
