I highly recommend this for a reasonably priced, low-key dinner. It's in the middle of nowhere, but worth missing out a few glasses of wine with your meal in order to be the designated driver. A stroll from Southend Central Station (C2C), a close walk to South East Essex College and an even closer walk to Essex University(Southend). O'Neills is what it is, my Irish friends would not be seen in there, they have visited once and never returned, but having said that us Anglo's enjoy being fed a theme and this is one of its kind. The food is ok, the beer is professionally delivered and I have never had a reason ever to be really annoyed with this bar, not that I am critical or anything!!!
