First time home buyer here and Megan was exactly who I needed to make it happen. After doing some…read moreresearch on my own I found the whole home buying process a bit overwhelming. My living situation at the time had become untenable and I really needed this ASAP. At the same time, however, I have a stressful job and adding more stress to my dwindling free time was an agonizing concept. I'm mid forties now and find myself, more and more, growing weary of the world. So naturally, I'd been dragging my feet for months when a friend, somewhat forcefully, referred me to Megan. Still, I managed to procrastinate a few weeks more before being strong-armed into finally reaching out. My only regret, and I don't say this lightly, is not reaching out sooner. Once Megan was at the helm all the chaos in my head became a streamlined process that saw me living in my very own home, start to finish, just over two months later. It could have been even sooner had it not been for my own indecisiveness. Megan's wealth of knowledge and experience, her many connections within the industry, as well as her patience, attentiveness, and empathy were invaluable throughout the process; the latter traits being key for me. From the get go it is apparent that Megan is enthusiastic and motivated while I am, well... not so much. In fact, for me enthusiasm adds to what is already a stressful situation by my perception. The fact that Megan so quickly brought herself down to my level and matched my pace speaks volumes about her awareness and compassion. So if you're excited about the process she undoubtedly will be too, but if you're struggling with the idea of adding a life altering and lengthy process to your already chaotic life, rest assured, she is still the right choice and will see you through. Megan's knowledge and connections proved pivotal as well. She had an answer to every question and prepared me well in advance for all contingencies. Before I found Megan, I had begun seeking pre-approvals through a couple mortgage lenders I thought were good picks. Turns out I had much to learn. Through one of her many contacts I was immediately presented with a substantially better offer by way of a grant. Then, after jumping through the hoops of obtaining a fully underwritten pre-approval, once I saw the final numbers on paper I realized my priorities were skewed and I really needed a lower interest rate over grant money. A rate this lender couldn't provide. With zero frustration or hesitation Megan was ready with another lender that fit my needs. I say 'zero frustration,' but I'd be surprised if there was none. Anyone would be frustrated at a client upending a weeks long process to start at square one. All I noticed was an eagerness to solve the problem. As an aside, that new lender was perfect. Not only did I receive a rate so good the previous lender was a little surprised, Alicia, the new lender was again just a perfect fit for me on a human level. Megan knows good people. Not surprising. When all was said and done and I met Megan at my new home to be handed the keys to my new life, she offered congratulations and words of encouragement in a way that befit my outlook of relief over excitement. Once inside I discovered a thoughtfully arranged array of welcoming gifts. I had previously mentioned how I was a bit of a neat freak and was looking forward to having my own kitchen; that after a long period of costly meal prep services, I'd finally being able to cook again. There were spices and olive oil, various cooking utensils, a cookbook along with cleaning supplies, and even snacks. All things that truly eased my transition as I began shifting my life into new quarters. Such a thoughtful gift from such a considerate person. I feel so much gratitude for my friend who referred me to Megan, for those Megan referred me to, and most of all, for Megan being the professional, compassionate, diligent, and caring human being that she is. Thank you.

Josh and the Mashore Group created incredible marketing for our home, including video showcases, printed materials, online advertising--the whole package. Although we got a great offer in less than 30 days, we unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, had to take the home off the market at that time. The Mashore Group was incredibly understanding and supportive throughout the process. Fast forward to this year. Josh stayed in steady contact over time, even stopping by during the holidays with thoughtful gifts and maintaining a genuinely personal connection. When our circumstances changed and we were finally able to relist our home, Josh wasted no time. He quickly secured strong showings, which ultimately led to an offer well above asking price, and he guided the entire deal to completion with time to spare. It's a shame we no longer live in Brentwood, because I would work with Josh and the entire Mashore Group again in a heartbeat. We can't thank them enough for their care, attention to detail, persistence, excellent service, and outstanding communication. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone with real estate needs. Marianne is so knowledgeable, hardworking, and will fight to the end of the earth for her clients. She also deeply cares for the people she represents. I know she's working in my best interest always. She handled the sale of my mom's home that was within a trust, out of the area, and filled with two generations of stuff. I was an emotional wreck and she came in and guided me through it all. We got over asking, all cash deal within 10 days of going to market. Above and beyond work every day -- from clean up, to prep, to staging, to marketing, to negotiating. I'm just so fortunate to have had Marianne represent me. I can't emphasize enough how hard the whole selling decision was for me. She was patient, we explored various options together. When we ultimately decided the right decision was to sell, she sprang into action and got it done quickly so I could move on from a heartbreaking situation. Her style is uniquely hers. There's no bullshit. Marianne is going to tell it to you straight, but I personally wouldn't want it any other way. I can't say enough great things about Marianne!!! Hire her; you won't regret it.

Everything was fine until the tenant stopped paying, and anyone who has dealt with these issues knows how stressful it can be. Lost and extremely frustrated, I called Marianne after doing some research on Yelp. Marianne was completely calm, confident, and professional. She quickly gathered basic information about us, the property, and the tenant. She informed us that she will be taking over and assured us that we will regain possession of the property. By that evening she had already sent over all the necessary DocuSign's and within the next couple days she was negotiating with the tenant on our behalf. Removing tenants for non-payment is devastating for both parties, so Marianne was firm, but also kind and compassionate. She was able to repossess the home within 15 days, without having to go through the process of an eviction, which was our goal from the beginning. Communication was always very quick, clear, and concise. My husband and I had so many questions since it was our first time going through something like this. She has a very extensive knowledge of real estate, the laws involved, and in general how tenants tend to behave, but she was also very patient and thorough when advising us. As someone that runs her own business and manages 100+ properties, Marianne is obviously a very busy person. I expected her staff to communicate with us after the tenant vacated the property. However, Marianne was our point of contact the entire time, which was very impressive. Marianne did not collect a penny from us during the entire tenant removal process, which really speaks to her confidence in her abilities as a property manager and her generosity as well. She is also well connected in the real estate space as all the references she provided to prepare the property for the next tenant were excellent. Our home was on the market for less than 2 weeks when she presented 2 solid potential tenants. Given how smoothly everything went up until this point, we were completely confident in letting her decide which tenant would suit us best. When we finally got to meet her in person, she told us that she takes care of all her properties like they are her own and after witnessing her work, it's clear that the service she provides is a direct reflection of her genuine passion for real estate and helping people. If you are looking to rent out your property, we absolutely recommend working with a property management group, but specifically, Marianne. Thank you Marianne. We appreciate everything that you have done for us, and we look forward to working with you for a long time!

This yelp is about the character of a person, Mike showed me today that he's the real deal. He didn't know that he was interacting with me. I like to lie low in my rare downtime. So this is what happened. I was at our local Safeway deli waiting to order 3 sandwiches and boy the line was not moving! We waited for at least 30 mins to get to the counter and just as I approach Mike strolls in gets in the front of the line because he had a phone in order. The clerks hadn't made his sandwich either because they were so busy but started his. He started chatting and quickly realized that the rest of us had been waiting quite a while. He said to the clerk as he was being rung up "I'd like to pay for all their sandwiches", I immediately said, oh wow thank you but that's not necessary. It's been several years since we purchased our home but even now after much reflection, if I were…read moreto choose an agent, I'd choose someone else. We did end up buying a house but it was at times challenging and frustrating. It's always hard to know what is supposed to happen when you are a first time buyer. Right from the start I was irritated by the fact that their office had little patience nor courtesy for people of different cultures. The one thing that made us choose them was their knowledge of programs that no one else educated us about. We ended up not needing the special programs, but Rick Fuller's group caught our attention because of their willingness to help and explain this stuff. We met them by chance when visiting a open house in Antioch. But let me summarize everything that went wrong after that and how this should matter to others like us. We had other family who were stakeholders in this purchase, but they do not speak English. During our consultations, our agent as well as the lady that the Fuller team worked with that does the financing made it a complete nightmare and showed little patience for me and our family, not only for me trying to understand everything, but also for me in trying to translate this all in real time back to everyone else in another language. It was not only difficult for me, but there was zero concern from the Fuller team that they cared about everyone involved understanding what we were getting into, particularly with financing. It took numerous demands from me to the finance person to STOP calling me on the fly asking me questions and to make decisions on the spot and requesting her to email instead so I can translate it back to others. She simply would not do it and would call and call me at work until she got the answer she wanted. Eventually, I had to demand to work with someone else. In hindsight I should have revoked my consent with everyone involved. We did not have a great connection with our real estate agent, though I give her kudos for trying. She never seemed to really get what we were in the market for so we did a lot of searching on our own. At one point, we found an amazing house in Vallejo, only to be told (by the same finance lady) that the loan limits in Solano are not the same and we couldn't get the house. Sad thing is, neither our agent nor the finance lady mentioned this after we had looked at numerous houses in Vallejo. Another strike for these guys. Ultimately we found a house on our own and ended up purchasing it. The process went quickly after that, albeit with more of the "we don't care that you have to translate any of this to someone else" drama as long as someone signs the paperwork. There's more to the story, but I will summarize with this...after we purchased our home, with most of it feeling very transactional and not personalized, we never really saw our agent after that and felt exactly that, the transaction was done. One would think that you'd get a nice gift given they made a bunch of money (like $20K+) doing not a whole lot but giving you stress. Well, we received a $20 Amazon Echo in the mail as a gift. It's essentially a cheap clock, which of course, in our culture, means death (and is pretty worthless for the rest of the family that doesn't speak English). Google is free. Just unbelievable. How are you going to assist families with life decisions like this and not attempt to understand anything about them is beyond me.
