He had banter, could make drinks well (creatively added some small flair to a lot of the standard drinks that guests were asking him to make) and also gave professional suggestions whenever he felt appropriate. The other bartender (who had curly hair and looked really young) was, I assume, quite inexperienced. There were times throughout the night where I approached him and he was on his phone scrolling through youtube. He made me the wrong drinks twice which was funny. I asked him for a tequila sunrise and he gave me a sex on the beach. It is a house so there is one large space made up of the dining/living room, a good size sitting room, a small office and a kitchen with a nice porch. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. Everyone loved this cute little house and had a great time there. Highly recommend for any event.

Nothing seemed like too much of an issue for them. You can tell they take a lot of pains to hire the right person for this type of job. This could easily be improved with today's technology options but this did not take away from the overall experience.

They provide tables, chairs, sound system, coat racks, and the rest is basically just a blank canvas for you to work with! Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. I tried contacting Jeff multiple times for help with basic issues, and he was nowhere to be found. It's incredibly stressful hosting an event and not being able to reach the person responsible for the venue. What hurt the most was what happened afterward. When I finished my event, no one came to do an inspection, no concerns were raised, and I left believing everything was fine. Days later, out of nowhere, they withheld my entire deposit and sent photos 11 days after my rental -- with no timestamps, no confirmation, and no proof they were even from the day of my event. The uncertainty and lack of transparency felt deeply unfair. I reached out trying to sort things out respectfully and reasonably. Instead, I was met with empty apologies and no real evidence. It was emotionally exhausting to keep asking for clarity and getting nowhere. I also followed their policy that clearly states the $500 deposit is fully refundable with 48 hours yet they still kept it. Feeling like you held up your end of the agreement only to be ignored and dismissed is incredibly discouraging. This experience left me stressed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken that something meant to be a happy occasion ended in frustration. I would strongly urge anyone considering this venue to protect themselves, document absolutely everything, and be prepared for very limited support. I cannot recommend this venue based on how this was handled.

This wedding was quite big and although it was very spacious for the guests, admittedly, it was slightly hard seeing (and hearing) the bride and groom as they were on a raised center cove that was slightly walled off on the sides. The mics were also dying I think and needed the batteries changed out. Food-wise, it is a different story. 10 course chinese food dinner which you would think is pretty standard but it was actually quite hit or miss. I understand that portion control is typically a judgement call made by servers when they come around but our servers were quite inconsistent portioning out the food (at least at our table). I got 1 strand of jellyfish w/ my suckling pig. Multiple guests at our table also got uncooked e-fu noodles on their plate when the noodles came around (the noodles were literally crunchy still LOL). Fried rice was very bland. Crispy chicken was overcooked to smithereens. The guy sitting next to me had several shells and cartilage pieces in his soup that he had to pluck out haha. The rest were pretty good. So like I said, it hit or miss items. I found the bartenders on the left side of the venue to be far more professional and knowledgeable. Some of the bartenders working the bar on the right side of the venue were giving sass to a lot of guests (especially when they didn't know how to make simple drinks) which I was ok with but I could see a lot of guests didn't appreciate the added sass. As a recommendation to the kitchen staff management (in case they're reading this), I know it's just late night grub, but if you gave the servers at the late night bar a grill to melt the cheese on the patties that would be awesome.
