I'd called in the mid morning for a pick up at 1:30 PM that same day, and he agreed to take me. He was prompt, very pleasant, and was a careful driver. Traveled again with him just recently and would recommend highly. New, spacious and clean car. It is outfitted with an enclosed rooftop luggage rack, and the suv looks like it sits at least six. Anyway, glad I found steve. A real lifesaver.

By the end of the day I'd just given up, and scheduled another company for a ride. When that company had to cancel on us, I decided to call Maine Lift directly. The woman who answered said... "Your request sounds familiar. Have we spoken before?" I said "No, but I did use your website to put in a request, but never heard anything back. Did you send an e-mail or try to call me?" SHE said: "Uh .. no .. I never got around to it". We have friends and family flying in and out of the Portland FBO all summer. They will NOT be using Maine Lift.

It was billed as a Kennebunkport 'insiders' tour that would be a unique and fun experience. Despite Hydi saying that she would be our guide, a young man, who was pleasant, arrived to take us on the tour. We went to the beach and after 20 minutes, the golf cart used for the tour began to slow down. The driver soon informed us that he would be cutting our 60 minute trip 40 minutes short as the batteries were running out and they weren't charge. After spending travel time and planning our day around a guided tour, which was suppose to include Walker Point, we only drove on a main road to the beach and back. It was utterly pointless and incredibly disappointing. I cannot stress enough that you should not give your business to this company and should avoid them like the plague. Hours after this experience, the owner called and said "sorry it didn't work out." Utterly unbelievable and unprofessional. This woman has no right owning a business, she ruined our day.

My wife and I were staying in downtown Kennebunkport, ME a few weeks ago for a family reunion. We…read moreasked the resort concierge for a taxi service to take us to the Wells Amtrak station, as our family ride had left the previous day. We were thankful that she contacted HydiDrive to get us to the train station! We had an early pickup on a Monday morning, and Hydi was right on time in her silver Mercedes. The ride to Wells is about 20 minutes, and Hydi filled us in on all the summer happenings in the Kennebunkport area. In addition to traditional taxi service, she also owns a water taxi, and an electric golf cart taxi! My wife and I drive a ZEV Nissan Leaf, and suggested to her that it might be something she could add to her fleet. Bravo for the environmentally-friendly transportation service! All-in-all, she's a super nice person, and when her crew isn't shuttling guests around the Kennebunkport area, she's probably out helping other guests and residents with their golf game (she's also a golf instructor!) So, next time we roll into the Wells Amtrak station, we'll be sure to call Hydi and have her take us to the driving range for some warm-ups.
