The furniture, art, and other decorative pieces were gorgeous and priced really well. There were some unique finds that you probably wouldn't look for but would be glad you stumbled upon and lots of classic pieces too. I became obsessed with a couple of items but wanted to measure before making a purchase. Steve happily provided his card in case things worked out. Unfortunately, I returned home to find that my hunch was correct and the pieces wouldn't be a good fit. No worries. I'll for sure keep Soho in mind during the rest of my redecorating!

We continued to browse while my husband overheard the woman telling the elderly man I'm assuming her husband to keep an eye on us. Being the only brown people in the store one can only assume it's for that reason. If you are a minority I do not recommend this place. That said, I had neither the time nor the inclination to spend the time to really give it a good shopping. Instead I found it overwhelming, so I just politely walked most of the aisles only looking at the things that really jumped out at me. Because it was a Saturday, there seemed to be a number of vendors there, so I'm sure there are some interesting stories to be told, and they could surely help if you're searching from something specific.

At first, the cashier told me they would honor the price, which I appreciated. But then, after checking with someone else, they came back and said they wouldn't give it to me for that price after all even though i stood there for about 10 minutes while they were trying to figure it out. It was confusing and disappointing to be told one thing and then have it taken back. If an item is marked incorrectly, I understand mistakes happen, but the situation should be handled consistently and fairly, especially after already telling a customer they'll honor it. This experience left me feeling misled and frustrated.
