This is a public course despite it's name which threw me off for a long time. I golf every week, usually the same course every week. One day our regular course was full so we decided to try out Trophy Club. It is in very good shape with soft greens and fairways. The twilight rate is 29 dollars after 5pm for as much as you can play. There are a lot of challenges including sloping greens, multiple sand traps and even high fescue to keep you on your toes. The carts are very comfortable. We now add this course in to the rotation of courses in our weekly golf. read more

The Course is in great shape and open for business. The greens are in good condition and rolling nice. Bring your A game to this course or it will eat you up. Undulating greens with lots of roll offs and tough pin placements to temp. No sand so respect the etiquette and replace those divots. No touch flag pins are set up and each player has their own cart for personal distancing. Still a little damp from all the spring rain but since the Marion county courses are closed we will make this our home base for now. The course is offering a special "Stay Healthy" walking rate of 25$ in affect now. Be well and play on! read more

I played The Trophy Club in late March and the greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in awesome condition despite having just opened for the year. If you have never played a links-style course, this is a great one to check out. Definitely call a few days in advance if you are wanting to make a tee time. They were jam packed on a 65 degree day in March. read more

I'm originally from Lebanon but am living in Houston and haven't played this course in over 15 years. I remembered loving this course and it was always in good shape that provided a challenge with great greens. So maybe it was nostalgia talking but the course was exactly as I remembered! Met some friends here and was super excited to get back out on my childhood course. The course was exactly as I remembered! Course was in really good shape, greens were in good shape and rolling smooth at a fairly fast pace. Rain stayed away and temps were perfect! I had a really great time and was able to catch up with friends and actually played well! I recommend this course, can't speak much on their customer service. The pro when we went was accommodating and we were able to bring our significant others along and join us for the day. The starter was super nice and shot the sh*t with us when we passed him on the course. For the money this place is a great value for and the back nine specifically holes 13-16 are my favorite holes on the entire course! Go golf here! read more

I consider this course my home course for the 6 months that I am in Indiana. AFIC it is the best public course for the money in central Indiana. I get the weekday senior rate for $27 for 18 holes including cart, but the regular rates are very reasonable also. I have played a number of local courses this year, with the incredible high temperatures and little rain, and most of them are suffering badly - crispy brown fairways, struggling greens, etc. Trophy Club is still beautifully green, rough and fairways, and the greens are in the best shape I have ever seen them in the 12 years I have been playing here - smooth and fast with a lot of breaks, about 10-11 on the stimpmeter. On most holes the fairways are nice and wide for the tee shot, with the shots into the green being much less forgiving. Not many trees, so this is the place for fall golf - no leaf issues. Be aware, though, that the wind can get pretty strong in the Spring and Fall (we call 10-20 mph a "Trophy Club Breeze"). read more

The front nine starts off with two good holes, but hits a very dry spell from three to nine, for the most part. Many holes look too similar and are utterly uninspiring. Strong back nine, including Holes 14 and 16, two of the best in the Indy area. The short dogleg par 5 16th might even crack the top ten holes in Indiana list. read more

Played as a two-some at 11 am on Sunday for $47 w cart. Didn't have to get paired up with anyone and even with a 4-some in front of us we played in under 4 hours. Course was in great shape and their greens were awesome. We played several other courses this weekend and their greens were in the best shape by far. Generous fairways are nice to have here. Lots of variety in different holes and depending what the wind is doing you'll be hitting just about every club in your bag. A must stop for any golfer in the area! read more

Cashier was extremely rude to my handicapped father. He essentially said that he would be okay if handicapped folks stopped coming to the course, because they apparently don't take care of golf courses. This was a hefty stereotype and so ridiculous of this individual. Furthermore, we will never come back to this course and would ask that if you know someone with cancer or a disability, please boycott this course!!! read more

Damn poor customer service experience when establishing a tee time. The jist of the problem is they want you to come play 9 holes if they aren't busy but demand you play 18 if the are busy. Their scheduler, name withheld, is happy to tell you how much you are inconveniencing them by asking for a mere nine holes. " well the ninth hole to too far from the clubhouse " or " we are turning people away right now who want 18 holes* he says, fine... have a policy of NO 9 hole tee time reservations and stop trying to have your cake and eat it too. The managers of this club wreak of arrogance in a already too soft golf market. We replaced the Trophy Club with another great course in a two minute phone call, like I said soft market and just made worse by someone who is employed for purposes of creating new business not destroying it. read more

Stop hear on a Business trip to Chicago in late October and was pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good snack bar. Course was in great shape and the greens were fast and true. Which I love. Next trip that way I will plan to stop again. read more

Great course, quite a challenge from anything behind the white tees. Greens are large and fast. Has to be one of the best public courses in the state, worth the drive! read more
