When I moved, he removed the bracket and reinstalled it with my TV and speaker at my new place, along with a Samsung Frame TV and another speaker below. The setup looks clean and well done. I had a couple of concerns: during the Frame install, it sounded like he may have hit metal when drilling, and during the previous bracket reinstall, I briefly worried about the electrical panel behind. Also, the blue protective blankets left dye on my tile floors, which took a few scrubs to remove -- so a heads-up if you have porous tiles. Overall, very happy with the results -- just shy of 5 stars due to those small issues.

A fella came out and looked at the situation. Inside speakers and outside speakers to connect to the record player. When we got a day set on, a guy came out. Really nice guy who knew his stuff, but didn't know this system. It was literally his first time looking at it. He went at it with confidence and got the speakers set, despite the speaker stands missing. When it got time to program it to use he had to just work his way through it. It took more time to get the speakers to turn on right that the installation. They are top of the line speakers, and a great central system. But with the speaker stand situation and feeling hung out to dry on service, it hurt a little.

Navigating the rack system, multiple wires and devices, and then the technology behind each device (even those over 10 years old) requires significant knowledge and an understanding of how these systems are built. Thankfully, with Joe and team's many decades of experience, there's no problem too big (or small, Joe said to call him with any questions whatsoever). They go above and beyond, with excellent communications every step of the way and honest and fair pricing. Bought a couple cheap in ceiling speakers (for Dolby Atmos) from Amazon I wanted installed in my…read moreliving room. Got a bunch of quotes and eventually chose Techs in The Home. They weren't the cheapest (the installer I used before for something broke his foot so couldn't use him unfortunately), but I liked that Donovan seemed to know what he was talking about and felt good about him. They came and started opening things up to see what would work. I wanted the speaker cables hidden in the walls/ceiling and they were able to make that happen. I also had 2 wires ran to the back of the room when I upgraded my receiver. Couldn't position one of the speakers exactly where I wanted cause of a stud, but he made it work. He was also able to snake a bunch of TV wires through the exterior wall on the other side from the previous installers failed on the side they tried. I was super happy about that. After installing the speakers, he patched everything and came back the next day to finish it off. The Dobly Atmos/DTS:X works great! Love watching movies and TV shows with it. After finding a painter who could match the knockdown texture to the rest of the walls/ceilings, it's like they were never here. Already spoke to Donovan about another project and if I decide to go forward on that will be using him in the future.
