In 2014, why did I need some middleman to book things for me, when I can control it all myself? Plus, not to toot my own horn, but I am very good at researching things online, and I am known for my organizational skills. I was asked to organize a cruise trip for my husband's frequent-cruising family, and quickly realized that planning travel with a large group -- with all the various personalities and individual "needs" (i.e. drama) is more trouble that one would imagine. So I decided to consider using an agent. I reached out to a few agents from well-ranked agencies, and wasn't terribly impressed, or convinced that they would even do as good a job as I could do myself. Then I talked to Jeremy from Cruise Vacations, Int. He's very friendly and has all those customer service skills you would expect from someone who makes their living in sales, but that's not what convinced me to work with him. It was very clear to me, from the very beginning, that HE KNEW HIS SH*T. I even asked him a few "test" questions to make sure he knew what he was talking about -- he was very impressive. HIs profile on the Virtuoso site says he's a second-generation travel agent. That probably explains a lot. Jeremy has handled every curve ball the family has thrown at him -- and there have been plenty -- like a pro. As the group leader, he keeps my informed about everything, which I like (i.e. I am a control freak). In fact, one of the older members of the family contacted me to say Jeremy was the best travel agent they had ever worked with. But the thing that I've been most impressed by -- and indeed, the thing that has convinced me of the value of travel agents for even individual travel -- is that Jeremy has, on two occasions, gone to bat for me with the Cruise Line. The cruise line made two distinct errors on my personal reservation - one in which they were charging me too much taxes, and the other in which they weren't giving me a discount to which I was entitled. Jeremy fought with them -- for several hours over the course of several days -- to get these things fixed. In the case of the taxes, it was only a $3 difference, but Jeremy knew that it was really, REALLY bothering me, so he didn't rest until it was fixed. I would have neither the time, nor the clout, to go up against the cruise line on my own. I'd probably just be out of luck had I booked on my own. But having a GOOD agent, like Jeremy, who is willing to do what it takes to make sure that his clients are happy, made all the difference. I don't often do 5 star reviews, but I highly recommend Jeremy Hall at Cruise Vacations, International.

While we did not use this cab service, this cab was blocking the crosswalk…read more /ramp at our local grocery. With our full cart, we could not access the exit ramp. Finally the driver moved the cab. As we made our way around the cab, my husband shook his head. The cab driver then yelled at us and proceeded to make rude gestures at us. We were only trying to exit a store via the crosswalk he was blocking with his cab. The cab driver's rude and unprofessional behavior was evident. Would not recommend this cab service based on this behavior.

Since April 2020, the US Passport Agency has changed its process and essentially doesn't entertain…read moreexpeditors beyond their own process. Firms like IAG can't get appointments or expedite your applications any different than you can by mailing them in. My experience has been horrific. They've taken days to reply back and you can't get anyone directly on the phone. They never told me the above information about what's changed today and charged my roughly $175 to take what I put together and drop it off a the Passport Office. They provided no confirmation of receipt of my info or no confirmation of when my information was taken to the Passport Agency. When my travel plans moved up, I emailed them to ask for a status and to see how we might expedite things further this past Sunday. Tuesday I heard back from them that there was nothing further to do. They provided an email with a tracking number for the State Department Passport Agency and stated it was dropped off at the Passport Agency on 6/10. Note, my materials were delivered via FedEx on 6/7, why did it take 3 days for passport renewal that I paid to have expedited by them?? Today someone else told me to log onto the Passport Agency with that tracking number to get verify the status (note IAG never told me this was possible). Unfortunately the status online stated it was received on 6/22 by the State Department, not 6/10. Why not tell me the truth or admit an error? I've been unable to get a response from IAG after reaching out today and being forwarded yet again to a voicemail. Do not use this outfit. They are non-responsive, non-professional and essentially misrepresenting what will actually take place.

I literally just got hung up on when I asked the sales rep(male) to please go over the itinerary once again with me. He was speaking absolutely fast and was very hard to understand . He did not even give me a moment to ask any further questions. They do not have any phone etiquette what so ever. Within minutes I placed a 2nd phone to ask for a supervisor/ manager the same male picked up stated he would transfer ... unfortunately got hung up on once again. Called back he stated the manager was not available and that he could help.... He had the audacity to advise he could do so when I clearly asked to speak to the manager. He then proceeds to state not bother calling back.... Is this how you treat your customers?? This place of business should be ashamed of the lack of customer services you provide specially to the Latino community!!!!!! 3rd phone call placed within minutes female picked up stated that the manager was David (male whom I had spoken to) not only did he lie but just disrespected me as a customer.
