We tend to rent charming old school places when we travel so mom can reminisce and Ann's was an eclectic choice. Beings we live far from family we wanted to throw a Birthday Party for all the Birthdays we missed. For an extra fee we were able to accommodate this gathering downstairs. The party was a hit and we were able to introduce local family to Ann's Hidden Gem. The Downstairs of Historic Anna 1893 operates as an Event Center and features a player piano. This piano became the centerpiece of the party and wowed the Aunties. The ambiance of the property was a perfect place for us to regroup and rest after family gatherings. Mom enjoyed sitting on the front porch and making small talk with neighborhood walkers. Pathways through gardens and plenty of shade and spots for photos. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann and her husband. Her grounds assistant , personal assistant and maid staff were easy to communicate with and we felt at home. Twenty Steps to the top floor! My elder travel companion is active and enjoyed the steps. However, you might consider checking out Ann's other rental property if you are looking for ground floor and beds. We had the privilege of staying in the Presidential suite and it didn't disappoint. Every detail has been thought of in this grand room! If you want to entertain there is plenty of room. When entering the suite area there is a separate seating area and large bathroom separate from the room. The suite includes a full size ice machine, small refrigerator, bar, glassware, sink, microwave and large screen TV. The king size bed is so comfortable and overlooks a pretty park with a fountain. The bathroom is huge with a fabulous large bathtub. You can fill your tub full and not run out of hot water. I wish there had been some bubble bath liquid, maybe next time the hotel will provide bubbles? The bar and restaurant was fun and the service was great! We ordered the egg rolls, lobster and bang bang shrimp, large side salad and corn soufflé. Next time we will pass on the corn and bang bang shrimp, not our favorite. Everything was good just not what we were expecting. I would rather have the corn served with the pork chop on the menu because the corn is more like a dressing type dish and it is sweet with cinnamon. The bang bang shrimp was good but not memorable mainly because it was fried and the sauce served on the side. In the beautiful lobby there is a baby grand piano. Having someone playing would have been nice. The hotel is very very clean with free parking!! Everyone was friendly and willing to accommodate with a happy smile. The tiled shower is very large and inviting, and the shower-head was large and under full pressure. The shower is why this establishment receives a greater-than one-star rating. Now, for the rest: the bedroom was disgustingly musty and there was visible water-damage on the ceiling. The smell from the mildew was overpowering and infected everything. The room's air was so damp and humid that even the sheets felt wet! Had I not needed a room late at night while traveling, and had I other options, I would have left this place. In fact, I should have left and slept in my vehicle- it would have been that much better. The bathroom layout is atrocious. When you open the door, the toilet is right in front of you... in the middle of the room! There is hardly enough room to walk around the commode in order to access the sink. The sheets were stained and looked dirty. I felt the need to inspect the bed and surrounding area for bugs. One more very important notice to anyone foolish enough to lodge here in the future: the curtains in my second-story room could not be pulled fully shut. As a result, there was a gap between curtains which allowed a stream of bright light to cascade into the room from the adjacent shopping center... all night long. It was awful. The staff were polite, and the young girl with the face full of piercings listened professionally and attentively to my concerns while I checked-out of the hotel. I will never return here. I will never recommend this place. Oh, and before I forget... there is no coffee maker in your room. If you want a cup of coffee you'll have to wait until at least 6am when the staff will brew a pot downstairs. That was frustrating, because I was awake all night in this nightmare room and was longing to leave when my darling wife awake at 5:45 a.m., and it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee in the room.

I was very happy when we picked it up this morning. The only problem was no delivery to Trenton. So we made arrangements to pick it up at 11, but we were early by an hour & to our surprise it was done & they weren't upset that we were early! I would recommend them for your floral needs. Not only was it exactly what we wanted but very reasonably priced. I wish I could post a picture.

Pretty laid back little place to relax and no one bothers you. Across the street is the hearth pretty good restaurant as well. Next to it is Hucks gas station that stay open 24/7. All the places I have said the workers are nice and management is pretty cool.
