I really appreciated how honest and thoughtful she was. I knew then and there she had a lot of integrity and care. Once I arrived, everything felt relaxing and intentional. They're appointment-only, which I loved because it meant my time didn't feel rushed at all (unlike other salons I've been to). It truly felt like protected, one-on-one service. After removing my Gel X, Kim recommended I not do builder gel YET and instead use a strengthening treatment for a few weeks. She didn't push a service just to make money, which says a lot. Also, their tools and cleanliness really stood out. The electric file was super gentle (no burning at all), and everything felt high quality and well cared for. Kim and Kevin were so kind, the space was relaxing, and the espresso was amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their work. She was a bit on the rougher side, but not unkind. The part that threw me off a little was when she said I'd be getting a 25 minute massage. She started the timer, applied cream to my legs, dropped something and then said sfed be back and walked away. I noticed the clock ticking down by the time she returned, four minutes had passed. I was tempted to ask if she'd reset the clock since the prep should've been done beforehand, but I decided to just relax and enjoy. The massage itself was ok. I've had better and while the foot soak, hot stones, mask, and hot towels were nice, my right heel still felt a bit rough afterward. When I paid, I let the front desk know the service was just ok and still left a $5 tip. Overall, it's a lovely spot and a relaxing experience.
