Very frustrating experience at the Clinton UPS. I came in with a package that urgently needed to be shipped. The woman at the counter (I didn't catch her name) said she couldn't take it. I asked her why, and she told me because it had a sticker on it. I told her I could take it off, I had put it on there myself. She told me no, I had to schedule a pickup from my house. When we got home, I went to do so, and they were going to charge me $40 for pick up because it was a residential area. What the heck?! I ended up finding a drop off location in a local store, and they took it no problem. I don't understand what the issue was with a STICKER on a box that didn't affect shipping , scanning, or anything. The attitude I was given was too much for a stressful situation. Had she explained the problem, we could have resolved it, and my package could have been delivered by now. Super frustrating. Employees need a little extra customer service training it seems. This UPS store is super fast and efficient. I was helped my Vincent today and he had great customer service and is more than happy to help you. I love that this store is knowledgeable about any Amazon returns and about shipping your package. The location is conveniently located in a shopping plaza with free parking. It gets really busy at times and you may have to wait a bit so be sure to account extra time if you're in a rush. I love that this store is always clean. Great job to the UPS Clinton store team! Sketter Black helped me out with shipping out a package to my partner, I'm still pretty new to figuring out how to mail things but he was super nice and the customer service was great! This location is run down as the staff and lazy. they take theyre tape super serious being it's the only job the boys have in there you would think they would be happy to throw on a little tape or just let me buy the roll. Lord of the tape really only dispenses as he sees fit. dont expect much help here or trust with packages. Ive used this location in the past and they haven't changed they're attitude in the years I've lived locally. Two boys running show should learn to shower before interacting with customers. my last package never made it on time, im going out of my way to go elsewhere Just to avoid this smelly hole. read more

They were all very friendly; outgoing and made me feel welcomed, they even asked how I was doing and told me how they were doing as well. I have never returned Amazon products at a UPS so I had lots of questions and they were able to explain everything to me and show me what to do and they took very great care of me, they made the whole experience fun and outstanding, I will definitely be coming back here, I love this store now. I just sent a small package off to my missionary and was so surprised to receive a missionary discount! I was told that the owner "insists on it"! Sure enough, my receipt included a 30% discount! I wish I lived close by, so that I could send all my packages from this store regardless of where they were going! The only negative was the person who processed my shipment was not very friendly, which isn't necessarily a big deal, or helpful, which matters more. When the total was less than he first told me, I asked why, and he begrudgingly told me about the discount and the owner's insistence. If I were an employee here, I would be so happy to have an owner/boss who is so supportive of a charitable opportunity and to pass that support on to the clients! It's so sad that someone with such good intentions is represented by someone like him. That is why only 4 stars! read more

I use this store mainly for dropping off outgoing packages and i usually just drop them off on the counter so that they do not have to wait on me. I was told today to get in line or take my package with me. I have been here many times and each time staff have been helpful. However, yesterday when I went in I had so many problems figuring out what I was doing, I started to get a bit anxious. The staff there were instrumental in me being able to work out what I needed to do, print out my packing slips, they helped me find the correct box sizes for the odd shaped items I needed to send, and they taped up and sent them for me! 7 plus days from South Carolina. It takes the post office 4-5 days. What a joke. Use the post office it's cheaper and faster. I used ups because i thought it would be faster they said 3 days the first time i tracked it now there is no expected delivery time whatsoever and its been 6 days. Save some money and time. Yes the problem was my issue and something I need to deal with but refusing to send a package from a store that is directly tied to a shipping company is ridiculous. Not to mention the curt letter I received almost a week later on a package that was supposed to be 2 day air. At this point I would give them negative stars, but am required to give at least one. I shipped a package and it was never delivered. When I track it it shows it scanned at the facility very near where it needed to be delivered, but yet never was. I called the UPS customer service number, which of course gets you to a call center not even in the United States. It took me three times calling before I actually reached some one who said they would open an investigation. There is no way to speak to a person in the United States, or someone who actually is in management. I called this morning again to check on the status and was told the investigation had been closed because the package could not be found. Of course they did not take the initiative to call me or contact me to let me know, yet when I called them and was notified that the investigation had been closed, I was told I would have to go to the store where I sent the package from to start a claim. Seriously! they lose, or an employee steals my package, and I get no help from UPS to remedy the problem!! I will NEVER use UPS again!! read more

My complaint is about UPS in general, not the store. Miserable service from a company whose only job is to deliver packages. UPS called me to set up an appointment to deliver my package. The delivery time was 1:00 - 5:00. The delivery time came, I had to take 4 hours off from work because it was a week-day. No package. No call from UPS to let me know they would not be able to deliver my package. I had to call them the next day. They wanted to set up a delivery appointment. I explained that I had one for the previous day, and they didn't show up. Where is my package? They said they'd contact the shipping department and would call me back in an hour. 2 1/2 hours later, with no follow-up call. I called them back. It took them quite awhile to determine they forgot to put my package on the delivery truck. They wanted to set up another appointment for next week, which means I will have to take ANOTHER 4 hours off from work. They weren't at all concerned that taking 4 hours off from work two weeks in a row is creating a hardship for me. They offered no alternatives for a more reasonable delivery, since the no-show was completely their fault. They stated they didn't have a complaint department when I asked to be connected to one. From now on, when I order products, if their only option is to ship UPS, I will find another vendor who will use literally ANYONE else. read more

The staff has been o.k. to my staff as we have given them business for quite a few years. When I called to make a payment on my house account over the phone (tried to use a credit card), the staff member had no idea what I needed. She also told me no one else knew how to handle my request, and that the manager was out of town for the week. When she informed me the owner would be in the next day I asked him to call me the following day. When I told the owner that no one knew how to take a credit card payment over the phone, the owner informed me that "we don't do business that way." When I told him that this impedes cash flow to his business to force me to write checks and he should be aware of it, he told me I was trying to treat him "like a school-boy". Well, our company will look elsewhere for our shipping needs. It's one thing when a staff member treats us poorly, but the OWNER?! He was not open to any possibilities that would help us, his CLIENT. He obviously has more business than he knows what to do with, so I'm sure our absence won't hurt his business in the slightest. read more
