Gave them 1 star because I could not give zero. This place is unbelievable. I called before having my package shipped to the store to make sure it was ok. Was told they accept all deliveries / packages. When I arrived to pickup my package, they refused to give it to me stating they could not 'put it in their system'. Was told they would have to send it back to the shipper. My wife and I are full time RVers and use UPS Stores on a regular basis and never had a problem. The package was a part to repair our RV and now we are stuck until I can get the part. Plus not sure if I will get refunded my $200 when they send it back. I really don't understand why they would not give me the package. I know UPS Stores are franchises but I will think twice about using any UPS Store again. read more

Brought a package fully sealed ready to ship, the employees insisted on opening it to make sure it was "packaged correctly" then proceeded to charge me to retape the package. The employees had a careless attitude and could not be bothered to be helpful. read more

What's a trip to Texas without having to ship stuff back to reality? My daughter had done quite a bit of shopping during our time in Del Rio, and found herself stressing about shipping everything from souvenirs to Julio's chips. I'd rather fall into a prickly pear, than go to the USPS, so we agreed to stop in at the UPS Store. Walking with arms loaded with stuff towards the door, we were greeted by a friendly employee who opened the door for us. At the counter, the process took a while, but it could've been due to there being other customers in the store, and the pre-Labor Day rush to get things shipped. My daughter was walked through the different shipping options, and the costs that would be involved. She admitted she was worried about the fragile items being damaged, but once her packages arrived to the house a week after leaving Del Rio, we were both happy to see nothing was damaged, and that great care had gone into the packing of the boxes. Truly, if you're still battling the long lines, and unsatisfactory experience of the USPS, a few more dollars to get your shipping done right is so worth it. Great job!! read more

Absolute thieves. My wife called them to ask about having a package delivered to their store as we are traveling and left Roma heading into Del Rio. The employee stated there would be a fee to have it shipped depending on the size of the package, understandable... but couldn't tell us the fee for whatever reason so we "assumed" for what we were having shipped should be a $5-10 fee tops... I get there to pick up the package and was hit with okay sir your total is $30 something dollars today... WTF?? I was like huh... She said the package was $10 and there was a $20 set up fee...??? Absolute clown show in there. I understand business, owned my own business for over 25yrs and realize they're in business to make a profit not friends. I get that but they should have explained the fees over the phone cause we would of found an alternative. I just feel like i got ripped off, taken advantage of cause if i refused I wouldn't of gotten my wife's medicine she needed... I would give this store a negative 5 if I could. I had a small package shipped here via UPS & paid for shipping at that time. When I went to pick it up they charged me $30. $20 for a first time pick up & $10 for the package. This place is nothing but a rip off & the people working there are so rude. Employees arbitrarily decide when to close the store. Tried to drop an already boxed and labeled package 10 minutes before closing but they were too lazy to take it and locked up 10 minutes before. I asked when they closed, they said "in 5 minutes", but they wouldn't let me in the store and wouldn't let me drop off a ready to go package. Terrible service! read more

Beware of shipping packages to this store. You cannot find out if they have received it to contact shipper for lost package. If you have not picked it up within 3 days of delivery, they charge $3.00 per day "storage". Only option is to pay an additional charge over your box rental to get email notifications. read more
