I recently purchased a sign from the Florence SC location and I wanted to let you know about the…read moredishonest way this franchise does business First in September I requested a sign quote for a complete sign told the girl I needed everything she sent me a quote and told me for them to get started I had to pay a nonrefundable deposit of half which I did then for the next 2 weeks I hear nothing from them so I called them and was then told the quote was for only a sign not posts so she sent me another quote and then changed the quote again after that they changed the original quote of around 1000.00 to right at 3000.00 so because I could not get my deposit back and because I desperately needed my sign I paid it in full was told it would take a week to 10 days. Then December rolls around after not hearing a word from them I call them and was told they had to get rid of some employees and it would be 2 more weeks. I finally get my sign they come and install it and the next day the sign is already falling down they did not even put any concrete in the ground to hold it. I called them and complained about this and the way the sign looked ( which is awful) and they told me they would send someone out that day to fix it. Well that day came and went no called and no one came. So the next day I called again and after I had gotten rather rude with them on the phone and threatened to call BBB they sent someone out to fix it. The guy came in to talk with me after fixing it and I explained the problem I had with the sign and why I was not happy with the way it looked he said he would get with his people and see if they can do something to fix it and would call me in a few days. Well it is now the middle of January and still no call and no one has fixed my sign. This is awful customer service and I make it a point to tell as many people as I can of the awful service I received from this company and I intend to proceed with the BBB and possibly file suit in small claims court. She said "you cant use hot water" i told her there was no sign saying that and I wanted hot water. I also lost nearly 5 minutes of washing while she messed with it and i mentioned that. She said they didn't offer refunds. I said thats fine if she would just put me into another washer to get a proper wash for $10. She said she couldn't do that either. I told her $10 for a large machine was a lot of money and I was using 3 large machines. She turned around and walked away while i was talking and pointed at a sign on the wall that said "Use machines at your own risk" The washer didn't work right and it didn't get my clothes even close to clean and she was VERY rude and unwilling to do what was right. So, I called 5th Street Cleaners to see if they would be willing to send a seamstress on-campus to one of our rehearsals. After being on the phone with them three or four times, they ultimately decided not to be helpful, so I took my business to 60 Minute Cleaners instead. They ended up sending TWO seamstresses to campus to take measurements! They have a very friendly staff and extremely helpful. I have since returned and used 60 Minute Cleaners for all of my personal tailoring needs and have been very pleased with the results. Myself and the choirs
