This UPS store isn't perfect, but it's the only store in the 5th largest city in Idaho. Yes it's pretty much busy from open to close and sometimes the lines can extend out the door, but the staff here are spectacular! They are always helpful, polite and work as a team. I don't know if it has always been that way but as of mid 2025 they are working so well as a team whine I've been there. For a business such as this teamwork and efficiency is key and they have it dialed in. Very frustrating to walk in with a package ready to be shipped and told "You just need a scan" and waited 25 minutes to get a "scan" of the item. This location needs a separate register ready to have drop-off items that are already sealed with a UPS label on it. There were multiple people in-line behind me with the same thing, just needing to "get a scan" and had to wait for all of the other patrons that needed counter assistance for boxing, taping, measuring, entering addresses/recipients, printing, etc. The line was wrapped around the store and it was after Christmas. Unnecessary wait times to be prepared to leave my shipment unlike other carriers in the area. Please figure out a way to streamline this process for those of us that can literally drop into a bin and go about our day because we did the work and do not need "help" or a receipt. read more

If I could give negative 100 stars I would do so. If you are a red blooded American, Idahoan, and supporter of the second amendment, I would recommend you totally avoid this place. I am certain I will never, ever set foot in this place or utilize their services in any way. Today I went in to send back a Bushnell scope for warranty repair. The attendant asked me what was in the package when he saw the Bushnell address. I said "optics". He asked me three more times and then called over the manager who continued to press me. When I said "it's a riflescope". The manager said "we can't do that, it's against the law". I told them it most certainly is not. Then the manager told me, "we don't have an FFL and you need an FFL to ship that". I told them that was also incorrect and that I clearly know the rules. What a bunch of misinformed lies. If this store does not want to ship things, that is fine, just tell the truth and say, "the owner of this store has a policy against shipping firearm related items". It is your right to make such a policy, but don't coach your employees to lie and insult your customers. Keep in mind this stance is not consistent with a vast majority of Idaho Falls consumers. This incident reminded me of another time awhile back, when I attempted to ship a glock slide back to Glock to get the sights replaced (not the serialized part of the firearm) at this store. Perfectly legal. It was different employees but they fed me the same insulting lies as soon as they saw the Glock address. Stand by your convictions if you want, but tell the truth, don't lie to your customers and insult those of us who are not "sheeple" and actually know the firearms laws. read more

I have been a regular at this shipping store for 4 years. I am SO impressed with their service. Christmas 2022 was especially impressive. When I arrived at the store the line was really long. If I hadn't needed to ship something that day, I would have left immediately. I anticipated having to wait for 30+ mins but was back out the door within 10. It truly was an impressive experience. Don't listen to the negative reviews. This location is WONDERFUL. They move through the line quickly, are usually pretty well staffed, and the customer service is fantastic! Okay I have gone here twice for super silly purchases the past week or so and they are seriously so awesome, kind, and fast!

This was the absolute rudest treatment I have EVER had in ANY store. We walked to the door with an armload of packages at 5:02. Doors were locked but employees were there and there were still with customers inside. An employee dashed to the door to open it and was called back by another employee. I understand opening to let us know you just couldn't take another customer or something - but to glare and turn your back was uncalled for and unprofessional. I have traded with you for 7 years. I live over 25 miles away from this store so I only come when I have an Amazon return that requires a QR code. While Amazon says that I don't need to pack my items into a box the workers at this store make me buy my own packaging for my returns. Absolutely the rudest people I have ever seen in a customer service business. There is a misconception in this location that you can be condescending and rude but if you do it with a smile on your face it is okay. The most unhelpful, abrupt people I have ever met and it almost seems like they have been told to belittle the cusotmers. I have done business at this location for years because they are close to me and it has gotten worse with each visit. I will not be renewing my mail box and I will be finding another location. If you value the packages you send and think they should arrive on time STAY AWAY FROM THIS UPS STORE!!! After spending $95 on next day shipping to DC, my package arrived back at this store ONE MONTH LATER. The incompetent owner, said " there is nothing I can do". The staff at this UPS store could not have been more helpful. I came in as a visitor just passing through with a package to send. I had an email with the return mailing address and bar code but had trouble downloading it. Mae showed extraordinary patience in helping me to send it to her computer. I frequently ship both UPS and FedEx from various locations, and this was the worst service I've experienced ever. First thing inside the door was told "don't you approach the counter until your paperwork is done, and it better be right." The employees were absolutely great. The manager/owner or whoever was not. They received a crate (they actually agreed to receive a crate) that was sent to me by my uncle. I was called when it arrived and I called back. I was told there was a $5.00 pickup charge (I was told that by my uncle, too). That was even on the billing tag. I then asked if I could pick it up the next day since I was not in a position to get it that day. I was told no problem (by an employee). I went the next day, figured out I couldn't fit it in my car and talked to them about getting my van and coming back two days later (my van was in the shop) and was also told no problem. They did tell me that it would be shipped back after 7 days. Not an issue, it was going to be 4 days after it arrived. I then got a call from the manager/owner and was told there was a $5.00 per day "storage fee". I was never told that by any employee, it was not on any billing invoice, it was not told to my uncle (who would have told me at the same time he told me about the $5.00 pickup charge). When I explained to the manager that I was never told that, she indicated, well, maybe the employees didn't know about the policy. Bull. She just made it up. They wanted that crate out of there because ... .... Why? It's a shipping place. Why was it a hardship to receive a crate? Why did they agree to accept it if it was a problem? This woman does NOT care about customer service. Her employees absolutely do and they were very helpful. The employees certainly deserve more stars but not the management/owner. read more

I had some very fragile collectables I had sold on eBay, so I took them to the UPS store to be wrapped & shipped. I figured they were supposed to be Professionals & wrap them so they would not get broken. I told the lady that waited on me several times they were very fragile & please pack them so they would not get broken. I had wrapped each one in tissue paper to get them to the store safe & they were in a shelf. They were supposed to wrap them in bubble wrap & make sure they were not touching. When the lady I sold them to received them they were only wrapped in the tissue paper & 3 were broken. These were collectibles that you can not get anymore. I went to the UPS store with pictures of the breakage & they said they were not responsible for them being broken. I paid them $17.37 for packing & they basically only put them in a box & sent them. I would never walk in their doors again. It not only cost me for packaging, but I also had to reimburse the lady I sold them to. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE not to accept responsibility for not doing what you were paid to do. read more
